I developed a low-grade fever last night, throat hurts and feel like I've been hit by a bus. Obviously, my temps are no good.
What do you do when you are sick and temping? Do you just call the month a wash and try to BD when you think you might O? Do you just throw out that temp and hope the elevated temp doesn't hang around and you get an accurate O date?

Based on what I've read and what my RE told me, temping doesn't necessarily pinpoint exactly when you ovulate. Your temp can rise up to three days after you O. But temping does tell that you did ovulate, or that you're having an anovulatory cycle, so it's still really useful. So even if you're sick, you'll still see a general pattern of a sustained increase in BBT if you ovulate.
I have a pretty good idea of when I ovulate, between ultrasounds and using the trigger shot. I still sometimes see my temp rise two days after O.
