How to dress baby

Tomorrow us our first day outside my LO is 12 days old and the temp is supposed to be a high of 17 or low of 10. How do we dress baby if he's in a long sleeve onesie pants socks and a hat will a warm blanket and a car seat canopy do the trick or does he need something warmer I have a fleece like suit for cooler weather but not sure if it's still too warm for that. FTM here and not too sure what to do.

Dress him as you have planned. Sounds just right. You don't want to over heat him. You don't want too many layers under the car seat straps.

This. Warm up the car ahead of time and just don't keep him outside much. Don't overthink it

With my first, dr told me rule of thumb is put one more layer on baby than i would put in myself.
