shes has this spot since birth but it's getting bigger and more red. I'm thinking it's because she's getting bigger but I just want some advice if this is normal?
How old is she? My daughter had two of those when she was born. One on her arm and one on the edge of her hand by her thumb. They looked like little blisters. Doctor told us they were probably caused by her sucking on her hand and arm in the womb. They went away after about a week. It never hurts to call and ask though.
Looks like a hemangioma maybe? My DD had 2 small ones on her ankle and one right near her anus, poor thing. The ones on the ankles were no big deal "superficial", but the one on her bottom was in a very sensitive place so we had to take care of it due to some issues, so it's gone now along with the others ones because she was given steroid injections. They would have not done anything to the ankle ones, however, they just leave the superficial ones alone because they tend to fade away before their 1 year Bday!
