  We go to pediatric consultants of Troy.  They have an office at Troy Beaumont and an office at 23 and Schoenherr.  They are a large group 8-9 docs, but I've liked everyone I've seen so far.

  I take DS to Northeast Pediatrics.  Their office is right off of Rochester Rd, between Avon and Hamlin (next to the Jeep dealership).  I've been really happy so far.  I've met all the doctors and they seem really nice.  One thing that's nice, that I haven't heard too many offices do, is they will pick up vaccines from the health department.  Most insurance plans have a very small wellness max, meaning they'll only pay for $x of well visits and vaccines in a year.  Once that max is hit, you have to pay OOP.  One series of vaccines can easily wipe this out and in the first year, there's a bunch of vaccines.  IT's prety expensive to have the doctor's office do it.  The health department offers vaccines at a discounted rate.  Well this office has some special arrangement that after you meet your wellness max, they will offer you the vaccines at this discounted rate (it's something like $15 per shot).  It pretty much saves you a trip to the health department, plus I like just having the peditrician's office giving the shots.
