Baby has cold

my nine week old has a cold :(
What can I do to help him breath and be more comfortable?

    My dr prescribed her a paracetamol and saline drops to keep her nose clear. And said i can freeze a cube of breastmilk for her to suck on for the sore throat, haven't tried it yet cause I'm scared of her chocking

    My LO is sick too! I hate it! We are doing saline spray and have the humidifier on at night. I feel so sad. I have been drinking lots of OJ and eating Chicken Noodle soup so that the nutrients get to him via breastmilk. We're going on day 3 so I hope it's a better day today..

    Vicks on the bottom of their feet!!!! It works!

    Saline drops then nose frida & humidifier in his room at night with Vick's menthol in it.

    I read to be careful with the Vicks because it can restrict their airways even more. Does this not apply to humidifier or they're feet?

    In new Zealand there isn't much they advise to give babies under 3 months. We propped up her cradle mattress with towels so she had her head higher at night, and we sat her in the bathroom every time one of us had a shower for the steam. Other than that we just used an aspirator to clear out her nose when it was really bad. For her first vaccinations though we were given pamol so I guess you could give bubs that if they seem in pain
