Low supply?

my baby has been pulling at the breast often. My breasts don't seem as full or hard as normal either. Hopefully my supply isn't decreasing. She eats at 8pm and I pump at 10 and only get 1-1.5 per side

    My little one has started biting and pulling but because of teething, maybe that's why your baby girl is doing it But if you do feel it is,
    There's a website that sells natural snacks containing fenugreek which increases milk supply, here's their website,

    I'm going to Try it and order the munch crunch and then add it to yogurt but from what I've read it seems like it does help...

    I've also heard power pumping works and it helps increase supply. Hope everything works out and hope this helps also !

    2-4 oz total is completely normal to get in place of a feeding (in your case two hours after). 0.5-2 oz is normal if you pump right after a feeding. Engorgement and feeling full are not indicators of milk supply. I only feel full or engorged if my LO sleeps more than 6 hours and I haven't pumped. You can tey herbs (fenugreek works better if taken with blessed thistle) and lactation cooking and gatorade and beer and everything else, but none of it will help unless you're emptying your breasts by either nursing or pumping. That's what signals your body to make more. Your supply is probably just regulating. How old is your LO?

    My Little guy pulls too sometimes. I tey to burp him when he does it. If that doesn't help, I switch sides. Then if I need to I switch back. Usually he pulls because he is impatient and doesn't want to wait for a let down. He is worse if I pump while he napping then he wakes up hungry. He hates waiting for that milk.

    Thanks everyone. She is 10 weeks. I tried burping her too, but even after she just seemed frustrated.. How do I power pump? 10 off 10 on?

    I did 20 on, 10 min break, 10 on, 10 break, and another 10 on.. I only did it this way because that's what my friend advised. I try and do it every couple of days. Also have tried the Mother's Milk tea. It tastes BLECCCCHH, but it helps( or helps by the placebo effect of it just calming me down. Either way!)

    You can do power pumping like massey25 or just 10 on 10 off for an hour. I just set an slarm every ten minutes watch tv. It is helpful!

    TV and phone. I go bananas thinking about what I could be doing(housework!) if I could pump on the move, but refuse to buy one of those bras and a battery pack for my pump. TV and phone help occupy me so I don't sit and bark orders while I play the role of Bessie cow. :))

    Do you do one side for an hour and then the other side for another hour?

    Both at once. I would imagine it's your personal preference. I like to just get it over with. Haha

    I was told by a lactation consultant that your breasts should stop being so full-feeling around 2 months. Mine stopped feeling full around 7 weeks. My LO only does the pulling thing in the evenings when my supply is lower and she wants to trigger another letdown. I just keep burping her and switching sides until she is full.
