I'm at the point where I literally can not get comfortable when I'm trying to relax or fall asleep. I've tried putting pillows under me, all different weird positions. I've read on a lot of different sites that laying on your back like cuts off oxygen and you should sleep on your left side. But sleeping on my left side literally hurts. And when I'm finally able to get comfortable, it's when I'm flat on my back. Have any of you ladies who've had babies slept on your back and had no problems?
Re: Sleeping on back really that bad?
With both my pregnancies i spent most of them on my back! Only the last few weeks was it uncomfortable, and i slept on my side...
Also invest in a GOOD pillow!!!! It will be a life saver in a few more weeks!
Good luck!
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
Baby Dust To All!!!
I have major issues with my hips and I'm having a hard time sleeping lately. My last pregnancy I ended up having to sleep sitting up for the last 4 weeks because my hips got so bad- and I use that snoogle pillow too!
A pregnancy pillow may help, I find it makes side sleeping more comfortable. Doesn't help that I have really bad CTS so side sleeping makes it worse.
