I still feel like crap, why don't people tell you how hard recovery can be?! But I loved reading success stories so I wanted to let y'all know that I had my baby girl (early, at 37 weeks, 6 days) Saturday afternoon! We've been home since late Monday night, I hated being at the hospital for some reason, and it's still so surreal. I was just laying here, thinking about how bad I felt, then I remembered how lucky I am and how even those last couple of weeks I still wasn't 100% confident that I'd be a mom (I worried about her movement decreasing, etc). Anyway, I hope everyone's doing great and if anyone has any questions, then I'm happy to answer them as always.
As some of you may know, we had a scare with enlarged ventricles in her brain at 18 weeks. We did an ultrasound before we left the hospital and her brain is fine. Just want to remind y'all that ultrasounds aren't 100% accurate so please try not to be too upset if you receive scary need while you wait on diagnostic results.
Congratulations!!! So happy for you and thank you for sharing the success story! I hope you have a quick recovery and don't stop snuggling your precious little one!
Thank you, ladies! Please keep even the littlest bit of good news coming, I know how much it meant to me. And thank you for all of your support over the long nine months. I never used my birth group, but I lived on this board.
Hooray! Congrats mom! We will miss you around here. Thanks for all the support you have given every person here! Good luck in recovery and enjoy all the newborn snuggles!
I don't plan on going too far. I joined a breast feeding group on here, but please continue to feel free to reach out. If you don't, then I'm going to miss you guys!
@PlainJane8350 a huge congratulations and welcome to motherhood! (Ok, you actually joined motherhood 47w6days ago!) I wish you so much joy as you snuggle that little bug. Soak it all in. You did a great job already and it's just the beginning!!!
Thank you, ladies! A week post partum I discovered the source of my discomfort, another flippin' hematoma! Except this one just affects me this time, so I'll take it. I hope everyone's pregnancies are going great! I obviously still check in to see how everyone's doing and read success stories!
