Week/fruit: 5/Appleseed

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: first appointment is 8/21 I will be 8 weeks.

How are you feeling (rants/raves)? All of my early symptoms are going away (except for bloating). It's weird I still don't feel pregnant.

GTKY: What's the one baby item you are most excited about/can't live without? This is my first so I'm not really sure. But I am excited about a jogging stroller. I really want to be active after I have the LO.

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: Next appointment is this Thursday. I know I won't have an ultrasound, but I'm hoping the doctor will try to fine baby's heartbeat via Doppler.

How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I thought I'd turned a corner, but for the past few days MS is kicking my butt. I don't feel constant nausea anymore though--just intermittent.

GTKY: What's the one baby item you are most excited about/can't live without? I can imagine that a sling/baby carrier will be pretty useful for baby #2.

Week/fruit: 8 weeks/raspberry!

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I had an appointment last week and all looked great! Next appointment is 10/21 for my 11 week.

How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I feel great, actually. A little fatigue and sore boobs, always hungry, but other than that, great!

GTKY: What's the one baby item you are most excited about/can't live without? Hmmm.. I'm not too sure on this one. MamaRoo's intrigue me though!

Week/fruit: 8 weeks/ raspberry

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday, but when I arrived, they rescheduled it for week 11. I'm trying to get it moved up.

How are you feeling (rants/raves)? I'm feeling more moody this pregnancy than last. With DS, everything was sunshine and sparkles because he was my first even though I felt sick. This time, I'm finding it more difficult to find moments to focus on the idea that I'm pregnant and not just sick/tired/sore. I'm excited, but I feel like I don't have as much time to enjoy all of the changes so much as trudge through them. That sounds awful when I read it, but it's how I'm feeling in the moment.

GTKY: What's the one baby item you are most excited about/can't live without?

I LOVED having a Mai Tai wrap and K'tan wrap with DS. I anticipate using it even more with this baby since I'll still want to be able to take DS places and play with him while being close to baby. I found them less intimidating than the moby wrap.

I'm not necessarily excited to pull out the breast pump again, but honestly I would not have been able to breastfeed without one since DS had a difficult/ineffective latch at first, and I returned to work after 4 months. It helped me to build and keep my supply (and be able to feed DS milk) while we worked on his latch during month 1, and during working hours when I was back to work. I haven't used it since the last day of school last June since DS now only nurses in the evening, but I owe that machine a lot. It lasted through 11 months of hard use, and 14 months of use total. I *hope* I can get more mileage out of it time around when I return to work.

Week/fruit: 6 weeks @ a Blueberry!

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment: Won't have an appointment for quite some time. Probably end of October? I've had the initial bloodwork and urine testing done, but won't get to actually see a doctor for awhile.

How are you feeling (rants/raves)? Pretty good. I don't have many complaints other than uncomfortable bowels....lol.

GTKY: What's the one baby item you are most excited about/can't live without? I'm excited for my Boba carrier for after the baby weighs 8lbs, and my Boba wrap for the newbie stage. But like a PP stated, I can't live without my breastpump. It was my best friend last time.

Week/fruit: 6/blueberry

Have you had a recent appointment (how did it go)/When is your next appointment:

My first appointment is 10/14. I'll be 8w1d. (although I think my due date may be pushed back due to when I ovulated) I'll have an ultrasound and meet with my OB-GYN.

How are you feeling (rants/raves)?

Pretty good overall. I was nauseous last week, but that seems to have gone away for the time being. Eating smaller, more frequent meals has helped.

GTKY: What's the one baby item you are most excited about/can't live without?

Buying baby clothes
