I feel this way too! I don't actually have a fever, but I feel achey and my skin feels sensitive, a lot like when I do have a fever/am sick. I've also been having fever dreams. They are kind of like half-awake dreams where I'm definitely not fully asleep but I'm also kind of dreaming at the same time. It makes for a very unrestful night and it usually happens when I'm sick. So I don't have a fever, but my body is acting like I do!
I'm currently sick with a fever, chills and body aches. I'm telling myself it's much more likely that I'm just sick and pregnant rather than that these virus like symptoms mean something bad.
It is pretty interesting and could be why you're not feeling well.
I don't think it means anything "bad", pregnancy-wise, so try not to worry... although do check with your doctor, there are a lot of common meds you won't want to take.
@melissaurroz1987 I'm 5 weeks 3 days. I've heard your doc would want to know about a high fever so maybe just watch out for that? When in doubt know that a call to your doctor is okay, they expect you to call and it's their job, you're not inconveniencing them!

Just wanted to share that anything over 100.4 my midwife wants me to take acetaminophen and page the midwife on call if a fever above that breaks through. Not saying this impacts your situation but that's where I'm at
I felt that same way for a little while- I adjusted my vitamins and felt a lot better! Remember your body is sort of fighting a virus, a virus that takes everything from your body to help itself.
I know what you mean, too. I haven't actually had a fever but I would definitely describe how I feel that way at times, particularly at night. I get cold so easily and the slightest chill makes me shiver.
@asunna I hear ya. But once the 2nd tri hits, it is like a magical unicorn kisses you and suddenly all is well. You are not too big, not too nauseated. That is when you glow. Counting down the seconds until that happens!
Re: Feeling feverish
I have been feeling under the weather as well.
I believe that our immune systems take a slight drop when pregnant, particularly during the first trimester. Basically, you stop fighting everything off because you don't want to "fight off" the baby.
