Has anyone heard of getting the pupps rash after delivering? I am 10 days post delivery of my Lil man and now and is getting really itchy. The rash looks just like what my sister had when she had pupps

Oh my gosh. It never occurred to me that the rash I got after coming home from the hospital could be PUPPS. It probably is because it started off as little spots and turned into big splotchy hives all over my thighs calves and butt. It's really terribly itchy and I haven't been able to get rid of it with cortisone cream. I have a lot of skin issues so I figured it was related to one of them.

I ordered grandpas pine tar soap on Amazon and it should be here tomorrow. I remember people saying it was helpful for rashes earlier in pregnancy so here's hoping it works!!

Yup! I'm on my 2nd round of prednisone and praying this works because it's like hell on earth with this rash!!!! And the worst is it seems no docs know too much about it. My OB said if it doesn't clear up I should see a dermatologist. When it started day after delivery at this hospital the nurses and doctors shrugged it off. I found Aveeno anti itch cream at the supermarket and that has provided me with the most relief so far!

I got this one week post-partum and it lasted almost three weeks! It started on my lower belly where I got stretch marks in the final weeks. Then I had it on the inside of my knees, then on top of my feet. I couldn't really see the rash unless I scratched at it, but I was insanely itchy! I used hydrocortisone cream which helped, then got Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap which also helped. I also just bought Curel Itch Relief lotion and it seems to work. It was not fun!

I used cortisone cream and it helped Somme but mostly I just waited for it to clear. I am 5 weeks pp and it started subsiding around 3 weeks. It was miserable. I didn't call the dr this time bc I knew what it was from last pregnancy. I have heard others say their dr prescribed meds for it but last time mine didn't.

I'm on my second round of prednisone also. I've found cold rags and aloe to give the most relief. I'm really hoping this round clears it up for good, this 5 weeks have been unbearable!

How long did it take for yours to go away? I'm 2 weeks pp and I'm to the point where I wanna rip my legs off and the rash is spreading

Mine subsided after 3 weeks pp and two rounds of steroids. Still flares up a little but not nearly as bad as it was. That Aveeno anti itch cream is a godsend! Got it at my supermarket
