I have been calm my entire pregnancy, and now I'm starting to think, "How am I going to be okay after giving birth to MY son whom I am responsible for?"... "Will I fail, will he love me, will I feel that connection when he is finally here.. Will we bond?" There are so many kore anxiety ridden questions that run through my mind but these are at the top of the list. I'm sure the advice is most likely, "I'll just have to wait and see", but I would like to shut my mind off in the meantime.
Re: Anxiety filled soon-to-be 1st time Mama
I know saying "don't stress" doesn't change your worry, but know that all of those feelings will come. As for the responsibility, it is huge -- but coming from an over preparer and worrier, believe me -- you may find those early weeks easier than expected
