The beebo

Any shark tank watcher here? I just finished watching and now DH wants one.

Re: The beebo

  • Yeah just saw it, I thought it was a great idea! The 3 month old I nanny takes like 45 min to finish a bottle. It would be great to have a free hand!
  • Loading the player...
  • These look great but they also scare me because you hear so many horror stories about infants dying from hands-free bottle feeding. This definitely seems safer, since it keeps baby on your body so you can't just set it and walk away, but I probably still couldn't use one. I'm sure I'd fall asleep and it wouldn't end up being safe anyway. :P
  • I know I said to my husband how many idiots do you think will try to set that up on the crib. He wants it because he plays video games to stay awake at night when feeding the baby and he said it hurt his neck because he would hold the bottle between his chin and shoulder.

Seriously??? If DH gave me that excuse I would throw his games out. Luckily, he isn't a gamer.
We will not be investing in this.

LOL sounds like my DH. He was great about staying up for feedings but I can just imagine if he knew he could game and feed at the same time.... Whoo boy, he would spare no dime.
  • We watched that episode. I think in the case of twins, it might be really good, but we will not be investing.
As my husband said (who has three boys,) "How do you bond if you're doing other things while feeding?" (And you wonder why I married him.)
I look forward to feeding time (whether it's breast or bottle) as a time to bond with our baby. I've said the same thing about squeeze pouches as they go into baby food, too. Seems like a way to take out a big bonding step when you remove the spoon!
