I was just wondering if there a reason no one is putting up pics of their LO on the birth announcement or if they are just choosing not too. I can't wait to see pic of everyone little ones
Many people don't want pictures of their babies posted on a public website because of stranger danger issues. It's important to remember that ANYONE can access the information you post on n15.
Me: 28, DH: 40 Married 9/28/13 DS born 11/12/15 EDD 8/13/18
If I chose to post a picture, it probably won't be an immediate thing. I'm pretty sure the lo-jack tags on my kid will have both my full name and his full name on them while he's in the hospital.
I'm not opposed to sharing a picture of him, I just want to make sure that there's nothing identifiable on him or in the background. I'm willing to bet that I won't be able to make that distinction for a few days following his arrival. Also for right now, almost every LO born is still a tad early and I'm willing to bet mom/dad sharing pictures of LO is fairly low on the to-do list.

Most of the mothers who have posted so far have been 1 - 2 months ahead of their due dates. I assume they're very very busy with newborns in the NICU and/or trying to prepare their homes and nursery for a child who arrived much earlier than expected. The days following a full term birth are busy and hectic, let alone a preemie. I'm more than willing to cut them a little slack in the telling of their birth story and posting photos. Perhaps they'll edit the posts later to add pics and more detail, either way I appreciate them taking the time out of their very busy life and keeping us updated on their pregnancy journeys.
If there's something strange underneath the hood. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. If there's something weird and it don't look good. Who you gonna call? Your Doctor. Immediately. If it's new, painful, and possibly pregnancy related get your ass off the internet and call your doctor. It's for your health and your child's.
