T & P's please!

I went to my first appt today and the baby is only measuring 5 weeks 5 days (I should be about 7 weeks). I was temping so I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate late - although I have of course been going over my chart all morning trying to find alternative O dates to make it work. I'll find out how my blood work is tomorrow and they're having me come back for a follow up ultrasound next Friday, which will be the longest week and a half of my life. Any thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated!

Try not to fret! This happens all the time. I'm sure you ovulated later than you thought---T & P for you though!!!

I wouldn't worry! Agree with pp- this seems to happen a lot. Did you dr seem concerned?? Many t&p for you!

T&P's to you and your fam! As PPs have said, if you ovulated just a little later than you thought, it could be perfectly fine. Every cycle is so different and dependent on so many factors. Try not to worry!

I just went through this. I went in when I should have been 7 weeks based on my LMP, but I have long irregular periods. My doctor did an ultrasound and was worried when I looked 4-5 weeks. He gave me a big speech on miscarriages, and for the next week I was a disaster. Went back exactly a week later (last week), and before the ultrasound screen could even load, the heartbeat started going on the speakers. I knew right then and there we were good to go. I measured 6 weeks 2 days. I still can't figure out that math, and I quit trying. You should too. That heartbeat was all I needed. Good luck!

@yogahh I would say the doctor was cautious. She was saying that it's totally possible for the dates to be off, and that happens often, but it's also possible that it isn't a healthy pregnancy... So not much help there. She basically just said we have to wait and see, and that my blood work will give us a little better of an idea (mostly my progesterone levels).

@josie12367 I don have my chart on FF, I just have to figure out how to share it...
