Late Ovulation in cycle after CP

Hi there. First off, if you're here, it's because like me you have endured a loss. So my thoughts and sympathies to you. I had a very early miscarriage on Aug 30th. I bled heavily for the first two days and then lighter...a total of 5 days. I didn't ovulate until later than normal on day 19 or 20 of my cycle, based on opks. My question is, should I still expect my period around cycle day 30 when I normally would or should I go 2 weeks from when I ovulated (which would be 4 or 5 days longer)? Is there any kind of trend with the first cycle directly after a chemical pregnancy?

I've been wondering the same thing. I ovulated about a week later than normal after my chemical pregnancy... But I don't have an answer for you regarding your period because I'm still in this cycle. I would assume it would be just as late as your ovulation.

I ovulated right on cue this cycle like nothing ever happened. If you ovulated later though then your period would come later I think

Your luteal phase is typically pretty much the same each month. So yes, if you ovulated later and you usually have a 14 day (2 week) luteal phase then your cycle would be longer than usual. If you ovulated on CD20 then you would expect AF around CD34.
