Baby more or less active?

Just a question, not a concern. I'm just shy of 36 weeks and I swear this little guy gets more and more active. Have your babies gotten more or less active as time goes on? I love feeling him move around but man it's sure tough on a bladder and ribs!

Re: Baby more or less active?

  • I'm going to say both. I'm a couple of days past 37 and I feel like I'm noticing less constant movement (she's always been a ninja) but her movements are definitely a ton stronger. She's just running out of room in there.

  • I'm 39 weeks and he still moves all the time. I notice less movement during the day when I'm up and around. At night when I spread out in bed he is all over the place!!!
  • I am noticing more movement for sure.  He or she really likes to push out.  Maybe trying to escape?  I also don't understand how my doc can say the baby is as low as it will get, but yet there's still something in my ribs.  I'm only 35 weeks and there is no room left for baby to grow!

  • I'm 39 weeks and baby is everywhere in there. I'm not sure if it's necessarily more movement or just there's no room to go so any movement is felt. Either way, yes. This baby has not calmed down in Mama's tummy whatsoever.
  • 35+4 and my little one never stops moving. Not sure when he sleeps! Even when I move around he kicks up a storm. He is head down and low but I get kicks in the ribs. I guess he is stretching a lot!
  • I'm 37w5d and this baby hasn't STOPPED moving!  He was so active on Friday that I actually called my doctor because I asked Dr. GOOGLE and I got worried about fetal distress.  My real doctor laughed at me and said active babies are typically a good sign and not a bad sign.  :)

  • I could hardly stand the two hour car ride home yesterday. Constant movement on my bladder. It's funny when he does have a quiet period I worry LOL.
  • 37 weeks, baby girl is super active. Lots of squirming and pushing.  Super uncomfortable.
  • I'm 39w5days and baby has days where she is very active and days where she is more calm. I'm a STM and remember it being the sane with DD1 but must say that DD2 seems to pack in her kicks with more brute force and also really enjoys wiggling her bum up against my belly.
  • My little man has been super active the entire pregnancy. At my 20 week scan he was moving as much as a full term baby, now it's even worse because I feel like he's practicing martial arts inside of me, and my ribs are not appreciating it.

    Due Date: Oct 11th 2015

  • Lately my LO has been soon active I don't understand how her ninja moves haven't broken my water yet ! :)
  • I am 38 weeks and I have noticed that during the day when I'm active she is not. But the second I lay down she has been off the walls! I was a little afraid she might just bust right out of there the other night.
  • My little one is not very active, so I have been doing daily kick counts. She always meets the 10 moves in 2 hours, but it takes her most of the time. I wonder if it is because I was obese before getting pregnant that I can't feel her as well... I don't know. Doctor said that as long as she hits her 10 moves in less than 2 hours, it doesn't really matter how long it takes.
