How many of us are still pregnant?

I am and am actually hoping I have an October baby.  My little man is turning 4 on Wednesday and I'd prefer she stay in until we have a fun and special day with him.

Re: How many of us are still pregnant?

  • Present! Still pregnant and while I don't mind having an Oct baby I would really love for this second babe to make an appearance by her second EDD which is this Weds (1st one was Sept 24th). Considering I was forced to stop working at 35 weeks because they were afraid DD2 would be born too early, being at 39w5days and still no baby is truly frustrating. Trying to keep my chin up but terrified I'll go way over 40 weeks like I did with DD1 and I really just want to hold my baby in my arms. Come on baby!!

  • Me, due Tues but no sign baby is coming anytime soon. I've had no symptoms. Yesterday was my last day at work so I hope it's not too far away. I hate the thought of having time off and sitting around doing nothing when I could be working.
  • Due Tuesday. Definitely still pregnant. :)
  • Due Tuesday as well. No sign of labor. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling like this...the waiting game is the hardest part! I thought the super moon last night would have helped, too.
  • 40 weeks 4 days pregnant. been on maternity leave since 38 weeks (I know right?) Scheduling induction at 41 week appointment this thursday. hoping for induction sunday night or Monday morning if baby doesn't come on his own. Hang in there ladies.
  • FTM and I'm 41 weeks today (edd was 9/21) and team green!! It's so frustrating to see your due date come, then go...then keep going! Somehow I'm now more patient and in better spirits than I was the weeks leading up to due date. The constant calls and text still get old although I know they mean well. I'm scheduled for induction October 1st and we cannot wait! Hoping for a happy, healthy little one!
  • Me. Although I have two due dates...today and October the 5th. Wouldn't mind snuggles anytime now. Ive only had cramps and pressure and nesting for signs.

40 weeks and 5 days today. I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow morning. I'm still hoping that labor starts on its own before that. This is my third baby and the first time reaching my due date

  • Due today...and still very much pregnant. I kept hoping allllll weekend long that something would happen and nothing.

I'm being induced in the morning though! My doctor is leaving town on Wednesday and will be gone for a week. Luckily, she thinks the only thing we are going to need to do is break my water because there's not much else holding this kiddo in!
  • @bmolson1 yes on the annoying questions on whether baby has been born!!! I literally wake up in the morning with 3 text messages asking "Any news???" Seriously?!!! I'm about ready to rip someone's head off if any one else asks. And then there's the "How can you still be pregnant? You must be ready to explode" comments. No shit Sherlock. Pardon my English but really I have lost all patience for the commentary.
  • Due today... can't stand the pressure from my boss to keep working until I'm in active labor!! It's like.. no baby yet? Well I need you to take care of x, y, z.... ugh!!! Wish I could just guilt-free hibernate until the baby is here!
  • Due last Wednesday (23rd). Get to call on Wednesday morning to see if hospital has a bed then head in to meet little man!!! 2 more days :)
  • I was due the 25th and still pregnant! I'm okay with waiting, but it seems like everyone else around me is not! Every single person has an opinion on how to induce labor and will ask me if I have tried this, that, and everything else! I'm only 3 days past due, but feel great and have no signs of labor approaching, My doctors and I both agree that discussing induction is not even necessary until 42 weeks unless fetal distress, but hoping he will come on his own before then! =)
  • Still pregnant.
40 weeks tomorrow, but getting induced on Wednesday if she doesn't come on her own.
    I am SO READY!
  • Due today and no real signs of baby coming anytime soon. I've been sick all weekend with a bad cold. My parents have flown in from the UK (we're on the east coast) and my MIL is here from Texas. Now my mum has caught the cold and she was meant to be in the delivery room with me and DH. So I'm hoping the baby holds off for a couple of days so we can all recover! At my appointment on Friday I was not dilated at all. My doctor won't discuss inducing for another week.
  • 40 weeks 4 days here...thanks for nothing super moon! Trying to be patient as I don't want to try to induce until two weeks out unless medically necessary. But I'm not working and my to-do list has been conquered so it's a little hard to fill the days.
  • 40+4 here and no signs that he's coming. Just hoping to avoid an induction unless medically necessary, so we'll see Wed. after the nst and u/s my Dr scheduled me. Trying to relax but keep thinking there is more I could do to get him engaged :/ just want to go into labor naturally, so hoping it will work out!
  • I was due 9-22 and baby is still cooking :/ Induction is scheduled for 9-30 at 8am! I'm seriously hoping active labor starts on its own in the next 46 hours.

Although I've had my little nugget on 9/8 I'm very excited for all you soon to be mommies. Pretty soon your little bundle of joy will be here. Just as an added reminder to those moms of children already I forget how little sleep you get so if you all can rest, rest, rest.

Me exactly! I've been on maternity leave for a week already and am due tomorrow! My to do list has been completed. Now it's just me, at home alone, feeling like a ticking time bomb that I wish would just explode already! I want labor to start naturally because I don't want to miss out on the excitement with my DH when it finally happens buuuut my anxiousness may get the best of me when my dr discusses induction with me at my appointment on Wednesday!

  • Meee :( I was due Sept 20 so I'm 41+1 now. Would love if my little guy made an appearance before I'm induced on Wednesday!
  • 40 weeks tomorrow and no indication that labor will start soon. Trying to be optimistic but I am simply over it!
  • Me!! But I'm being induced in 12 hours.

    Ahh. So nervous!
  • 40 weeks on Wednesday and starting to get impatient! My bday is Friday though and I'm kind of hoping we can share our day :)

I totally feel this way too. I was due Saturday and was hoping I didn't have to go back to work but my boss keeps making plans for the next day. I went in today to finish a couple things but no guarantee that I would keep working this week. Well he totally gave me a list today of things he wanted done tomorrow, which really bugged me. I'm half tempted to fake the birth of this child, who seems very content to stay in my uterus forever. :)
  • Oh also for anyone past their due date still going to work....don't you just feel like a ticking time bomb?! I'm so nervous it will start up at work, I soooo don't want that! It's a weird little game of Russian roulette everyday I go to work, but I haven't had any signs that labor is coming and no cervical changes the last 2 weeks, plus I always thought my real due date was a week later, so half of me thinks it's not a big risk to go to work this week. But it's just so hard to get around now, I can't walk very well and I'm so uncomfortable. I really hope he gets here this weekend!
  • Wow, lots of us.  It seemed like so many already had their babies.  I thought I was the only one left.

I'm 3cm dialated, 80% effaced and have been having contractions off & on for a week now!! I don't feel comfortable driving myself to work, am sooo physically uncomfortable and worried of the possibility that something will happen (ie.. water breaking) in front of my coworkers! I told my boss that I'm concerned about driving myself 40 minutes home/ to the hospital right now and he offered to pay for an Uber to pick me up if I needed it... Seriously!!! I am not waiting for a perfect stranger drive me to the hospital while I'm in labor!! I need this baby to decide to come out already ~X(
  • I had an appointment today and she did a quick ultrasound with this ancient looking ultrasound machine in the room to take a quick peak to make sure she was still head down.  She did a quick look at the size and felt around a lot too since my last one was big and I'm getting close to my due date.  According to this she's thinking she's at 8lbs 2 oz right now.  She ordered an  ultrasound for next weeks appointment if I'm still pregnant to keep an eye on her size to make sure she isn't getting too big.   Here's hoping she isn't . So much for those newborn clothes I guess.  lol

  • @nanako0 - your boss sounds like a total arse and is totally out of order!! The perfect pay back would be to have your water break in HIS office ... let him clean up AND call you an Uber. Sheesh! Seriously, what kind of insurance and maternity leave do you have? Any way your doctor can just put their foot down and say you have to stop working? I can't believe baby is still not making an appearance despite how much your working.

@Elizabeth043086 I'm terrified of LO's weight too. My first DD was almost 9 lbs and doctor estimates that this one won't be any smaller :-0
  • Due today but feel completely fine. No signs she coming anytime soon. Sure hope she does bc yesterday was my last day of work.
  • Also due today! I have been off work for 2 weeks and I wish I hadn't... everyone was so convinced he was gonna come earlier... but nope he's still baking... my DD who is 5 now was 3 days late,so I am hoping he is following in his big sisters steps.. and is only gonna be 3 days late too...My next app. Is on the 1st...hoping my Dr will do a sweep... I got one at my last appointment and it gave me crazy contractions but no dialation... hoping this time it pushes me into labor.
  • My EDD was the 25th. Still waiting, and haven't noticed any pre-labour "signs". At my last appointment I wasn't dilated at all and the doctor said baby still needs to drop a bit... my next appointment is tomorrow so hopefully there's been some progress made! Feeling so anxious!
  • Today was due date and no baby yet. We're actually hoping for her to wait until at least Thursday. We both love Fall so much we want her to have an October birthday! Ha! Silly, I know, but can't help it. :)
  • 40 weeks today and still no baby. Went to hospital today to do routine check and found out I'm 4cm dilated and am experiencing contractions but nothing to get excited about. On the negative side my BP seems to have suddenly spiked so they put me on meds to bring it down, which has me feeling very low energy now. Likely that I'll get induced on Friday if baby doesn't come on her own before then. Fingers crossed she does! A big hug to all the Sept '15 mommies who are still waiting to embrace their LO. We can do it!
  • 41 weeks at midnight tonight. Ultrasound tomorrow and setting the induction date! THANK GOD THE END IS NEEEARRRRR!!! Wishing I didn't go on maternity leave at 38 weeks now :| I'm taking 12 weeks though and probably won't go back to work. Going to try and find a night time part time job instead.
