Positive?!!!

hoping someone can clarify my situation with their own personal experience! I became pregnant with twins through IVF I miscarried at 12 weeks. I had a D&C 7 weeks ago next Monday so I guess 6.5 weeks ago. I started feeling mega tired this week and a little bit of small cramping in my 'lady area' I took a digital home pregnant test last night and it has pregnant 1-2 weeks!?

My question is could it be real?! Or could my hormone levels still be elevated even though I had a D&C nearly 7 weeks ago which is quite a while!!? I'm waiting on a blood test but that's in a few days and I'm dying to know what people's experiences are!

    Did your RE watch your HCG levels go back to zero?  Or have you taken a test before this test and gotten a stark negative (to prove there is no HCG still left)?  Fingers crossed it's the real deal.

    No I got no after care whatsoever so I had no idea what my levels were doing! I'm not even sure there would be any HCG levels in my system from 7 weeks ago.., no I've not taken a pregnant test before this one so I don't know what to think until I get my blood test...

    Wow. So this was a natural cycle? Congrats! It sounds like your BFP for real! A full cycle after a d&c there is no reason you should have any aberrant HCG left. That is very exciting. FX and keep us updated!!

    Have you had a period since the d&c?  I've had 4 miscarriages, all around 8 weeks and d&c's, and it took about 6 weeks for my hcg to go to zero and my cycle to start again. (still trying for one to stick)  You were farther along than me and with twins so your hcg was probably much higher than mine so it might still be in your system??  But everybody's body metabolizes differently. I'm rooting for you!!!  Good luck!!!

    DH: 29, SA - Great

    Married: June 12,2011

    TTC #1: 1/2014

    Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea

    Treatment: Clomid:  50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored

                      Menopur 75ml (upped to 112.5ml), Ovidrel, & IUI  IUI #1 8/31/2015

    9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!
    Heartbeat 10/2/2015: 118bpm
    DS: 5/27/2016

    TTC# 2: 12/2017
    BFP: 4/20/2018
    EDD: 12/29/2018

    Thanks so much ladies for the positive vibes! I haven't had a period at all since the D&C and wondered why it's been taking so long to come but the tiredness is identical to when I was pregnant so my head is saying noooo it's left over hormones but my body is telling me something very different. My husband has low motility and volume so the. Handed of us conceiving naturally were slim! I get a blood test early tomorrow then another on Monday to see if my levels are increasing! I'm hoping and praying for some good surprising news!

    I miscarried at 9 weeks and there was no hcg after a few weeks. And I chose to miscarry at home on my own so it took a good 7-9 days to all clear. I would guess BFP! I hear a lot of people getting pregnant easily after a mc. FX. I would go to the dr!!!

    Apparently my HCG level is 27 and progesterone is 1.5 no idea what that means it may be left overs?

    Do they have you go in for s follow up? To see if the numbers go up or down?

    Levels going down :-( not pregnant will have an ultrasound to determine if everything was removed... When will this end

    @chelsbum I am so sorry it did not work out. My husband and I are in the same boat, low motility and volume, although the last IUI sample he had had greatly improved! I hope the next one sticks for you!!
    Married May 2009, TTC since November 2012 (Together since 2006 ish - had my eyes on him since 2001)
    Me: 32 (33 in May), Him: 37 (January)

    DX: Me: High Prolactin, Possible Autoimmune Disease Issues, though RE not concerned (?)  New RE has a plan!!
           Him: Minor Varicocele, low morphology, slightly low count

    History:

    Beta 5/9/2016 BFP!!
    Embryo transfer scheduled for April 28, 2016 and beta test May 9, 2016 (day after Mother's Day!)
    Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer. 

    3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
    Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen
    Starting IVF Stims on +/- Feb 22, 2016
    HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)

    Switched clinics and now prepping for IVF in February / March

    Fourth IUI -  CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - December, 2015 - BFN
    Third IUI -  CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - November, 2015 - BFN
    Second IUI - CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - September, 2015 - BFN
    Started Prolactin Medication October 15 - Levels quickly regulated to with in normal range
    First IUI - CD3-7 100 Clomid w/ Ovidrel Trigger - August, 2015 - BFN
    After no BFPs (ever) First RE/Urologist visit in Feb 2015
    HSG w/ OB, 2014 = all clear
    Trying to conceive since November 2012

    I am so sorry too :( I know how hard it is to get bad news like that . I had an early miscarriage last week and it's been really rough. I'm here for you ! Praying things will be better next round for you .

    Me: 29
    DH: 29
    Us: Married Valentine's Day, 2015
    DH: No issues.
    Me: PCOS, unexplained infertility (whatever that means!!)
    June 2015 Medicated TI cycle: BFN
    July 2015:  Medicated TI cycle: BFN
    August 2015: IUI: BFP. Chemical pregnancy :(
    October 2015: IUI: BFN
    January 2016: Egg retrieval: 10 frozen embryos!
    March 2016: FET Cycle- 2 embryos transferred!: BFP !

    I'm so sorry to hear that it's never easy and U.S. Ladies have to fight harder to get a miracle baby. Thanks for all your kind words girls I've just got to roll with the blows... Surely it can only get better from here!
