Does anyone else have high blood pressure? What do you do to relieve stress. I'm starting a new teaching job this year and it has made my stress level and blood pressure rise.
I do.. I walk, stay away from caffeine and food with a lot of sodium. And I drink a lot of water. Also take warm baths or showers not hot, that will also raise your blood pressure.
Thanks! I've been off vaccine since my last apt but it's still high. My dr recommends I walk in the evenings but not too much as I was not active before the pregnancy.
I have high blood pressure and was prescribed medication. I had never been on medication prior to my pregnancy but since being on the meds I feel so much better and they're completely safe for baby so if it bother you I would recommend talking to your ob about maybe trying a low dose?
I'm not in medication and she says it's not high enough to try medication but it is way to high. She is having me do a pristine test to see if it could turn into preclyanpsia. I think it has to do with when I go. I go right after school so I might need to go in the afternoon or morning.
I have high blood pressure. I have when not pregnant as well. I keep it under control with medication. I also try to avoid salt. I used to walk daily but now I'm on bedrest.
