34 weeks and could be induced Tuesday!

I have had extremely high blood pressure. My OB has sent me to L&D twice to be monitored. I now have to go to her office twice a week for NSTs and she said be ready to go have a baby at every visit. If I come in with blood pressure over 150/100 again she's not taking a chance. She said we won't make it to 36 weeks.

    I'm in the same boat! My dr threatened to take the baby at 34 weeks too. I'm now 35 and she said the same as your doctor.. If it's this high you will be delivering next week. I'm doing a sonogram to check babies weight and position Friday. She said she doesn't want to have to have the baby stay in the NICU, but I could stroke.
    I really hope for the best for you and sending all my thoughts and prayers your way. Don't panic- everything will be just fine. Just have confidence in your OB whatever decision they make will be the best for you and baby. Please keep me and the board updated with your status!

    I know this is scary but trust that your doctor will not make this decision lightly and has you and your baby's health in mind. T&Ps that you can go a bit longer and safely.

    My sister had extremely and I mean extremely high blood pressure with her pregnancy. She ended up having to deliver early and it was the right decision for her and her daughters health. Good luck OP and trust your Dr. They aren't making this decision lightly. Can't wait to see your birth announcement!

    I was threatened with induction starting st 34 weeks last time but managed to keep my BP in check at home on extreme bed rest with twice weekly doctors appointments. I even made it to 41 weeks because it stayed down at home.
    Fingers crossed your body calms down a little for you so baby can keep cooking!

    Hope your baby stays cooking a bit longer! That's considered a normal BP for my situation. I know it can be stressful but hang in there.
