Depending on what time of day it is I usually try to clean and straighten around the house, but if it is around the time to have lunch or make dinner I do that. Nothing exciting.
Clean, laundry, make dinner, bathe older daughter, try to shove something in my face to eat before baby wakes up. But as soon as she realizes mommy is trying to eat it's like an alarm goes off. Wide awake.
For me it depends on the time of the day. If I haven't ate I usually make myself something, otherwise I'll clean or do laundry and if I already did those ill lay on the bed next to baby boys bassinet and go through my phone (the bump )or sit on the couch and catch up on news and shows.... And in between all this, I will take breaks to go see if baby boy is okay and just watch him sleep for a bit, makes me appreciate him more and more and thank God for him! :x
Naps?? What are these things called naps and mommy time??
No, seriously it seems like the only time LO will nap is in the car when we are running errands. And I am usually super anxious the whole time about him waking up and screaming/being fussy right in the middle of the store, etc.
Super jealous of all of you ladies whose babies nap!!
Shower, clean, laundry, EAT, law and order SVU. Naps are rare, he always seems to wake up when I think about napping OR I think he'll wake up soon and he ends up napping for 2 hours.
I have two older ones so the closest to mommy time I have is when they are in bed and just LO is up with DH and I. I usually snack like crazy since I never have time to eat anymore and watch a little TV with DH. I love to read but I get so little time with DH that it's hard to take that time alone. I really need to though, I'm definitely feeling a little worn down.
Depending on the day - napping with her, cleaning/laundry, working out. My LO tends to take one long nap instead of a few short ones so I can usually get quite a bit done.
Watching 6 feet under. I know it's from 2001 but it's 7 seasons long and I've never seen it. Totally love it. And I don't t give a damn that my house is a mess. ... Most days.
I work night shift so I nap with LO on my work days. On my days off, i sometimes nap with her bc I just love cuddling her, but sometimes I'll clean, cook, give our other child (the dog) some attention, etc.
Laundry, load dishwasher. Before I went back to work sometimes I'd be able to get a quick 20 min workout in then shower. Now during his weekend naps I spend my time washing 5 million Dr Brown bottle parts in preparation for the work week...
I go to work at 2:45 pm so when my LO naps I get ready, do housework and make dinner for my hubby and I to be eaten later. I really need to exercise. Trying to find the time is hard.
I pretended to do some sit-ups and crunches during some mommy time. Really I was just laying in his floor watching the ceiling fan. Normally I inhale something quickly and then wash bottles and pump parts, let the dogs out, cuddle the cats for a few and just relax. Thankfully washer and dryer is in our bathroom. I can handle that at almost any time.
Re: Mommy time
Set up half my fall decor! Yay!
I love and miss cooking, I try to get that in while I can. I was so shocked when I actually had enough time to make banana bread!
