Hospital stay :(

so my gallstones are starting to affect my liver production so I get to spend 2 days in labor and delivery with a possible 3rd trimester emergency surgery... I keep telling myself at least the baby is OK. They checking to make sure my liver isn't preclamsia. Biggest issue, I'm starving and they won't feed me :( they keep giving me sugar to keep me up but I want a cheeseburger or pizza :(

    Gallbladder can't come out till after she does, and they doing the 24 hour test so I'm not getting out of here anytime soon, as the test doesn't end until 2am Monday morning. They have me on medicine for the pain, but that is making me feel seriously guilty for taking it because she gets it. They been monitoring her and she sounds like an extremely extremely healthy little girl, but a little tired from the medicine. I'm going to be 31 weeks Soon, and I was hoping to at least get to 34 with her :(. Here's to hoping she stays in.

    Now to figure out how to tell my boss, when I got written up last week for being distracted and what not, that I might miss an inventory that we suppose to do Thursday, and work for a day or so. I had just settled on a price to buy my townhouse, and now I'm going to be missing precious days salary because I'm in the hospital now :(

    I'm so sorry that you're in the hospital in sick. That's awful and it cannot be easy. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.

    Since you're an accountant, you probably already know this. But, if a few days salary is going to affect your ability to purchase the townhome at the sale price that you agreed upon, you probably shouldn't buy it because you will be overextending yourself. And I know how disappointing that can be, but another home will come along. The important thing is is that you feel better soon.

    @BostonBaby1 it not that it would affect the purchase of the townhouse, unless I have X number of sick days/vacation days for maternity leave, I get freaked out like seriously freaked about not having a paycheck for that long, and wouldn't want to use so much of my savings on that kind of a purchase.... SO picking up a few side jobs to make sure that I have the equivalent to two times the amount I would make in sick time for what I'm out stashed in the bank. Also they were discussing not letting me out till baby comes, I am not being in here for the next month plus, send me home!!!
