  • You are in the 6th month. You will move to the 7th month at 28 weeks!
  • I'm due January 10th.
  • I'm due January 10th.

Like I said you are five months. The easiest way to keep track is every month on the 10th you'll be another month along. Look at the chart I gave you.

    October 10= 6 mos
    November 10 = 7 mos
    December 10 = 8 mos
And of course January 10= 9 mos

You are pregnant for longer than 9 months though so that isnt 100% accurate either.

  • A month is typically measured as 4.4 weeks, not 4 weeks. Multiply the month of pregnancy by 4.4 and that's how many weeks you'd be when that month starts. For example, you'd be 6 months pregnant at 26.4 weeks (which is about 26w3d) and you'd be 7 months pregnant at 30.8 weeks (about 30w6d).

There are 52 weeks in a year, and 12 months in a year.  52 divided by 12 = 4.3 weeks in a month.

Pregnancies aren't really measured in months, though; they are based on a 40-week gestational period that starts from the date of your last menstrual period.  40 weeks is a little longer than 9 months, but in most cases, you're not actually pregnant for the first couple of weeks after your LMP.  If you know how many weeks along you are, you can divide that number by 4.3 to get the number of months. For example: at 24 weeks, you're a little over 5 and a half months.  Your sixth month will start shortly before 26 weeks, your seventh month at a little past 30 weeks, your eighth at about 34 and a half weeks, and your ninth just shy of 39 weeks.
  • Well. I'm at 27 Weeks 5 days, coming to the end of my 6th month, and I'm due on December 22nd. That would make you at around 6 months. Just at the start of it, anyway. If I'm understanding everything correctly on how the whole "Days, Weeks, and Year" thing works. :))
  • Wow...y'all are going too scientific for me. The date of my LMP was February 26; I count months on the 26, so today I am 7 months exactly. EDD are calculated by adding 9 months and 7 days to your LMP.

Well, it's 9 months + 1 week, but since conception happens two weeks in, I think it's a stretch to say that you are pregnant for more than 9 months. Unless you go way over due.

  • Everyone calculated months a little different since every month has more that 4 weeks exactly.

I went by a book that was given to me by my doctors office and they said the sixth month is week 23 to 27, seventh month is 28 - 31, eighth month is 32 - 35 and ninth month is 36 - 40 weeks.

  • I'm not trying to be an ass, but why does it matter so much? You're pregnant until the baby decides they are ready to rock your world. :-??
Ok, good, I'm not the only one who thought this...
