Would just like to say Hi!

Hi ladies,

I'm normally on the April 2016 boards, but my due date is April 1st, so I was hoping I could maybe join you March ladies as well?   There's always a chance the date could get moved up, or I just might even deliver early. March is more awesome, anyway.  ;-)   

So, in case you would like to know... I'm 32, DH is an adorably energetic math teacher, we live in Buffalo, N.Y., and this is my first pregnancy. I enjoy playing the flute, can lick my own elbow, have an irrational fear of the prop comedian Carrot Top, and I'm pretty good at pinball, sometimes.  I'm also really nice, I totally swear.  

Well, I'm looking forward to getting to learn from you all and maybe even helping where I can.   Any questions, let me know!

    I kid, I kid, stay and hang out! Your description of yourself is amazing. I am a lover of pinball but I rarely do very well. My favorite ever was a vintage KISS pinball machine. I also love the Adams Family one! And everyone should be afraid of Carrot Top...

    Ha!   That KISS pinball machine looks awesome but I have yet to fondle one in person.  Addams Family is totally fun!   We've got a Pin-Bot pinball machine at home which I have successfully made my b*tch.  I was in a pinball league this past year which was quite an experience... I recommend it.    Yeah, Carrot Top makes me cry.  

    Yesss... licking my elbow somehow always comes in handy.  

    Anyway, thank you both kindly for the welcome!

    Well that settles it..  I think I'm going to like it here.

    @flowerpower5838   Yeah about the pinball leagues... they're funny.  The Buffalo one caps at 50 members and it's a great mix of old nerdy dudes, skinny hipsters, successful businessmen, stoners, and the occasional girl.  An all girl pinball league recently sprung up here too... they've got probably 20 or so ladies now.  I know they're popping up all over the states and they are taken SUPER CEREAL.

    Welcome! March BMB is totally awesome, the snark is honest and refreshing (they are very helpful though!) btw - pinball is totally awesome. I used to be pretty much glued to the adams family one

    I always tell people I have two fears, one rational and one irrational:

    Spiders and Carrot Top.

    You can choose which is which. ;)

    My husband and I were in Vegas and Carrot Top was riding the escalator down while we were going up... I didn't see him, THANK GOODNESS, because my husband warned me and I had time to look away...I was about in tears anyway because I was so scared. Lol

    I'm also from the April 16 board, but there seems to be more happening here. I had my son at 37 weeks 5 days, if this one goes that way I may be a March mama anyway. Nice to see someone else riding the fence :)

    I always loved computer pinball and had competitions with my dad. He never let me win :(
