went to l&d today for decreased fetal movement. Everything was fine except I was having a few contractions I didn't even know about. They drew labs and sent me home and said they would call with results Monday when my doc is back in. I have my results sent to me and I'm low on mag and vit d. Has anyone one else been low on these? What did they do for it?
Re: Low vitamin d and magnesium
Vitiman d is important for a million things, I think the most recognizable being bone development and muscle and nerve wellbeing. If your doc doesn't say anything though, I'm sure it's not a big deal.
That said it never hurts to get more sunshine (vitamin d) or greens and beans and nuts (magnesium and vitamin d).
ETA Easier said than done
I take vitamin D supplements and I get magnesium infusions. It will depend on how well your mag is for whether or not they infuse you. But in any case, both can be corrected with medication.
