I think im comfort nursing??

It seems like the only thing to calm baby down lately is to be on my boob. He's 7 weeks old and He hasn't been napping more then an hour at a time during the day lately. Is a great sleeper at night though.5-8 hours. But I can't tell if he's actually hungry or just comfort nursing? So confusing. Any input would be great!

    I get confused too! My LO is rarely satiated unless sleeping. I offer the boob anytime other things don't work. My bad.

    If he is sleeping long stretches at night then he could be tanking up for the night by eating frequently during the day. If you can hear him swallowing then he is taking in milk and I wouldn't worry about it be comfort nursing.
