So sorry for your loss. You made the right decision, don't ever doubt that. Thank you for sharing your story so openly, I didn't do the genetic testing for this baby (it's our first) but your story has made me realize that I will do it for the next one. If you hadn't have done the testing, this whole process would be much longer and harder and you would have to do a D&C much later in the pregnancy. Hope you can take comfort in knowing that you made the right decision for her and she is looking down thanking you.
So sorry for your loss. And I second the others who thanked you for being so open about what was going on with your little one. I am sure that will help others who may find themselves in a similar situation.
@ladyanaya I cannot even imagine your loss. I will keep both you and your husband in prayer, as nothing can prepare you for this. She is an angel and knows how much you love her. Plant a flower or buy a plant to keep in your home as a memory to her, so you can speak with her anytime and she is always present. Much love and blessings!
Lurking from Jan 16. I'm so, so sorry you had to go through this. A coworker of mine had a similar story and we've talked about it several times. It's such a hard decision but I know you made the best decision you could for your daughter, not to let her suffer. I wish you quick healing and I hope you have more children in the future.
