My stomach gets super tight like a rock every now and then. And then it goes back not so tight...what does this mean???? Should I be worried? It's just a very uncomfortable feeling..
If there is no pain and it's just uncomfortable, it's Braxtons. If it's painful, let your doctor know, as it could be real contractions.
Braxtons are common, and I've been having them if I stand up too fast, am on my feet for too long, haven't had enough water, etc. If you can, when they happen, sit down, drink some water and relax for a few minutes. My midwives ask that we call if there are more than five in one hour. Check with your doctor for their recommendation.
