Are you all changing your LO diaper during MOTN feeding? It sounds like some people just grab their LO from the bassinet, feed them and put them back, all without getting out of bed. I think my LO would still wake up crying and want to be changed.
I only change her if I smell poop or hear her do it.

I don't change every feeding any longer since she doesn't poop as much. I check every time and see how wet she is and change if needed. We are getting up twice a night so usually I will end up doing it once. We have a cosleeper attached to our bed and in the pockets I have diapers and wipes so I don't get up at all. I nurse and change and take care of the diapers in the morning.
I change the first time he wakes up because that is his longest stretch and his diaper is really full. He also goes right back to sleep after that feeding. After that when he gets up in the night I just quickly pick him up and feed him with no diaper changes.
I only change if I know there is poop (hear or smell). Otherwise, I put a good layer of triple paste on before bed in case some slips through, and we've been doing just fine. I do try to bicycle her legs a little before I feed her though so that if she's going to poop its more likely to happen pre-feeding rather than post-feeding so its easier to get her to go back to sleep.
I actually nurse on one side and then when he's done with it I change him and offer him the other side since he's somewhat back awake after the diaper change and then he usually nurses himself to sleep on the second boob
Same as @lap018 - DS tends to be a sleepy eater at night so we find a diaper change in between boobs is perfect. Also if we left him in the same diaper all night he would leak through by morning. We only change him once per night though, usually around his 1 am feeding.

We change first since he usually goes to sleep eating. Changing after would wake him up. He's also down for about 4 hours at a time so his diaper is almost always full. He won't wake up for a dirty diaper at night. We tried changing between breasts but changing before is definitely better for us.
