Scrapbooking ladies

I am looking for a very specific look for our family albums/scrapbooks and I need help finding what I am looking for or I need to know if it exists.

My grandmother has old archival type books where the pages are fixed and she has pasted her photos in these leather bound books.. She cannot remember where she found the books so long ago ... Does anyone know what I am talking about, what is the correct name for these books and where in the world can I find them/order them from? I would like to start ordering my supplies so I can work on my scrapbooking during the holidays and on leave!

I'm not sure what they are called but I haven't seen those in years not sure if they are made anymore. I would check your local Michael's Arts and Craft store they tend to have a lot of things others don't. You could look on their website first if you don't have a local store.

Are you talking about the old school photo albums? They used to look like leather bound books and have thick paper and you'd glue picture directly onto them.

I haven't seen those in a loooooong time. I'd say the Internet would be your best shot at finding it. Haven't seen them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Yes that was what I was talking about there are new scrapbooks that you can do this with they just aren't the same as the old school ones. Have a great weekend too hope you can find it on the internet I wish I could remember the name for them my mom has them I'll call her tomorrow and see if she remembers what they are called.

There's a good chance they don't make those at all anymore, as they can really ruin photos. Regardless, I think they're called magnetic photo albums.

I am pretty sure that they do have them at Michael's! You probably really really have to look, though. My mom bought the supplies and had me put together a scrap book like that for my step-dad last Xmas. 3D stickers don't work super well in those books, but she had me use some anyway. Lol

I ordered these online for my wedding photos in white. They are beautiful and the pages peel back and you stick the photos right to the page then press the clear seal back over. Is this what your looking for?

I don't know what your price range is, but have you tried exposuresonline.com? They are pricey, but they might have what you are looking for. Majority of these books have rings in them with the paper included (like this), but there are a few like the kraft scrapbook, tree of life album, leather oversized scrapbook, and the semprevederde scrapbook where the pages are bound in. We used to get their magazines when I was a kid (it took me a few minutes just to remember the company name), so I have no idea how often and how good their sales are. Good luck!

Thank you ladies ! They are not the magnetic ones , it is basically a blank hard cover or leather bound book
