So my husband and I have been trying for a while. I was on my third round of Clomid, about to be sent to a fertility specialist, when I found out I was finally pregnant! It has been 2-3 weeks since I found out.
I am a teacher and on Wednesday when my students came back to class from lunch, I began to have sharp cramps. I text my husband (a physician) and he told me to go home after school unless I start to bleed. Then I felt the rush of blood within 10 minutes of his text . I quickly got coverage for my class to run to the bathroom. Sorry for tmi but it wasn't a little bit of blood, it was a lot. Even clots. I was able to get coverage for the remainder of the afternoon and went to the ER a little shook up. My husband met me and basically prepared me for what was going on: I was having a miscarriage.
I had bloodwork done and went back for an ultrasound. During my ultrasound, the tech showed me my baby...beating heart and all! She couldn't say anything to me but I was feeling optimistic. The doctor came in a while later and shared the baby's heartbeat is fine and I was 7 weeks 2 days. I couldn't believe it. I felt so relieved! I go in Monday for my first appointment with my doctor. I'm a bit anxious to see what the thinks happened! My husband suspects I possibly passed a twin (since it was a Clomid pregnancy). Wednesday was incredibly scary. I have been taking it easy since Wednesday and feeling so blessed for this little one! Also, due to this ER visit, a few family members have been told I'm pregnant. Which is nice because now I have people to talk to
