Maternity leave coming to an end....

i know many of you have returned to work already. I have a little less than 2 weeks left and my heart is breaking. Also starting a new job and a new daycare location so that worries me even more. Trying to remind myself that we got through this once with DD but seems just as hard second time around.

Anyone else going back soon?

Need some words of encouragement. The time home is never long enough

    I felt the exact same way. I've been back to work for about six weeks and although it's hard to leave in the morning most days I feel OK. The first day was definitely the hardest and every day after that is much better! I definitely mourned the end of my maternity leave as well. I keep feeling angry that our country has such horrible maternity leave policies. You can do this though! You and your baby will thrive and be perfectly fine! Keep us all updated :-)

    I am going back to work at the end of November and I am dying on the inside. I live in Canada so I get a year of paid time off, but early into my pregnancy I told my husband that I wanted to take some time off too and spend it with our son - BIG REGRET NOW! I love the idea of father and son getting some serious bonding time in, but I'm also selfish and don't want to share lol.

    Definitely will not be doing this with the next kid and will take the entire year off instead of sharing

    I go back on Monday. I keep reminding myself that my baby will be with my parents. I know she will be ok. I just feel bad that my leave is almost over.

    Daycare starts tomorrow. Cant wait to get through these first few weeks please send along some strong vibes! Lots of snuggles today

    I was back to work in July....  Be thankful for the time you had... 8 weeks went quick.  Good luck in your transition back to work!

    I know how you feel. I was borderline about to quit but it took me to go to work to realize I actually enjoy working and having "me" time isn't so bad. It will get better :)
