Toasted graham latte > pumpkin spice latte. That it all.
I saw it the other day when I went to Starbucks when I was going to get a pumpkin spice latte and panicked because I couldn't decide. I ended up not getting anything for myself, just a milk for my daughter. I gotta make sure to get it next time!!
The pope is in town, so now I can't watch regular tv. I'm a bit peeved. I don't think the man's EVERY move needs to be televised.
Nope, I think most of D.C. and Philly will agree with you. First of all, stop interrupting regular tv for every.little.thing. Second of all, why exactly do we have to shut down the entire county of Philadelphia over this? And it apparently affects Montgomery County too, since he's staying there. My parents live in Montgomery county, and my mom is a red cross volunteer. Since she won't be allowed in and out of the city, she has to go in early today and will be sleeping at the red cross shelter until Monday. She really isn't happy about having to spend that many nights in an uncomfortable cot, and is annoyed at how the red cross has basically had to term the whole project as if it were a disaster response in order to get all the logistics worked out. I think at this point, his visit is more an inconvenience than anything else
My UO: I absolutely hate bananas. Can't even stand to have banana taste in recipes (strawberry banana smoothie, banana bread, etc) -- horrible. My DH likes them though so I buy them for him, and of course baby boy will be eating bananas at some point, but man....I hate them. The smell, the texture, everything. YUCK.
@ssn109@ChiccoBeanz I'm in Philly. My best friends car got towed for being in the "pope zone." She's also not allowed out on her balcony after 10 pm Friday night until 12 pm on Monday. She lives in the city so I understand, but jeez!!! The road closures are such a pain, this traffic box is driving me crazy. I think I'm just going to stay in bed from now until Tuesday lol. I think it's really cool he's coming to Philly but boy oh boy is it causing chaos and he's not even in Philly yet!!

Me too. They are awful. Edited to add: I do like banana bread though. Mainly because I smother it in cream cheese.
I was just talking to my husband about this.... I am not a fan of that pregnancy Halloween costume when they have zombie hands and legs sticking out of the belly!! I actually find it morbid. Like, you are saying you have a dead baby inside you! So creepy (and I don't have anything against zombies!)
I still don't get why there isn't a block function on this forum. It would resolve so many issues and help keep out the trolls.... At least you wouldn't see them on your threads anymore lol

I'm not a big fan of any Halloween maternity costumes. I guess that's my UO.
This! Plus I'm right next to the UN so I feel like I'm prisoner in my apt unless I want to answer a million questions as to why I need to walk down the street. Pope plus UN general assembly = neighborhood nightmare.

I've just been annoyed. This visit made traffic a nightmare, people were like essentially put under house arrest, my television was monopolized to televise every little thing this man did. Heaven forbid he coughed, we saw it. This was just obnoxious. Like why does anyone want to see the arrival of people going to see the pope for an hour? Why is that important? At least wait and interrupt things when he gets to his destination and actually gives a speech or something... grrr!
I watched the Pope's speech at the White House and think it's great that he's visiting the U.S. I do not, however, see why the news now needs to be extended to re-show what he did all day long. Like the same car ride over and over. Just leave Ellen on, please!

YES! Like why is it POPE tv for like 2 days straight on every channel lol
My UO: there are times where I really wish LO would stop moving around in there. I get it! It's cramped space, but so you need to press your entire head into my abdomen? Sometimes it really catches me off guard and I stop mid-sentence while lecturing.
I dislike that the majority of clothes for baby girls are obnoxiously pink. You can still have cute or feminine clothes without them being pink.
This!! I really don't like pink or purple at all. I've managed to find quite a few cute girly (& gender neutral) outfits in other colors but it seems like 90% of what's out there for girls is pink/purple. Also, who thought it was a good idea to put glitter on kids clothes?!?? You wash it & then you have glitter on all of your clothes, & all over your house It never really goes away. I may secretly return all pink/purple/glittery gifts.

*QBF Just talked to my mom this morning. It's so bad they can't even get supplies (like food and water) to the shelters where the visiting EMTS are being housed. They brought dinner in last night in the middle of the night after everyone was asleep and it was spoiled by morning bc it had to be refrigerated. Nobody put it in a fridge. There was nothing for them this morning, either. They didn't have breakfast and it was 10 am. So even the volunteers are under house arrest, but without the necessities
Re: UO Thursday 9/24
That it all.
I also got the Orange! Glad I'm not the only crazy one!
Also, I too liked my orange glucola drink, it was yummy.
I'm going to have to try this now!
I also didn't mind my glucola drink, then again I was thirsty.
Ladies, what does UO stand for? So many abbreviations on here and I don't know all of them yet lol
