Life changes - overwhelmed

DH and I had everything planned for Our LO including live in child care. To our surprise she came a month early. At the same time DH had a job offer fall in his lap that we couldn't turn down but it involved us moving to another state about three hours away. So for the past six weeks I have been traveling back and forth periodically. I found a job with my same company near his job and received an offer from them today for a lateral move. Everything is working out but I am so overwhelmed and it's all happening so fast....a new baby, moving to new state and two new jobs all withing six weeks. Now I'm trying to find childcare for my LO by nov 1.

    I will be starting a new position when I return to work and when I think of it I feel overwhelmed too. Just going to try to take it one step at a time.

    Hang in there. It's a lot of change but at least things are working out in your favor.

    I'll also be starting a new position when I return in November, and it is scary! I can't imagine moving too. At least life is exciting and it'll get easier as time goes on! Good luck :)

    I'm glad it's working out for you! My DH received an offer out of state right before DD was born. We went and looked at houses with a toddler and newborn in tow Labor Day weekend but ultimately I was not willing to move 2 hours from our friends and family. I still felt so stressed even though he's turned the job down, I can only imagine the stress of actually going through all of it!
