Weeks/Fruit: 20 weeks, half way there! Banana is the fruit size.

Appointments: Tomorrow is our A/S late afternoon so it's going to be a long day at work!

Rants/Raves: Rave: I've been feeling baby kick a lot over the last few weeks and after we find out the sex of baby we are going to set up our family photos. Rant: not too much right now.

Boy or girl or team green?: Will finally know the answer tomorrow afternoon - I am guessing another boy, almost certain but we shall see.

Gtky: What was your favorite subject in school and why?: I loved history and English/literature - I was actually a pretty good writer but haven't done so since I graduated.

Rants/Raves:

Rant: I'm a little ticked off at my hubby this week. We had our reveal party Saturday (which was great) but after we didn't want to do all the clean up. I took care of at least throwing everything out that needed to be, so pretty much we just had a bunch of dishes to do. and trash to take out. Took trash out on Sunday, but then we went apple picking in the afternoon so dishes didn't get done. Then Monday I peeled, cored, and sliced 20 apples to make 2 pies (1 for his mom) and made an awesome potato, ham, and cheddar soup (from scratch) for dinner, so again dishes didn't get done. Tuesday I have my one class this semester in the morning and then I work until 9. Hubby texts me at 6:30 saying I "need" to quit school because I'm getting nothing done at home. Ummmm no. My one class is not interfering with housework. My work work is interfering, but guess what? We need money. And when I got home at 9 I did a load of dishes and finished making the 2 pies (stayed up till 1). Yesterday he texts asking if I can pick up some things at the store on my way home from work, including cream of potato soup, but also says how he'd rather my soup (that was earlier in the week and now gone), so I get three different potato soups that seem more like the one I make than regular cream of potato because I was exhausted and didn't want to make soup again that night. I get home and he gets mad that I didn't get the cheap regular cream of potato. So I go back out and get it (even though he said not to, I could tell he would just be grumpy if I didn't). Just ugh. Went to bed at 8.

Rave: After many months of no progress on this particular project, we finally have our tv screen/monitor up and running at our center! It's been a pet project of mine and we were just waiting on IT to get it set up! Yaaay! It looks awesome and I get to do all the content editing I want

Gtky: What was your favorite subject in school and why?:

Probably Studio Painting, but I also really liked Studio Drawing, Graphic Arts, Commercial Art, Intro to Culinary, and all the Math classes I took. I'm a huge art nerd and loved having an hour and a half to draw or paint all day. Plus I love cooking and baking so culinary was great, and I'm a math geek so that is why I liked math. Trig was probably my favorite, we had a great teacher!

Appointments: I just had my A/S on Monday, and have my regular OB check tomorrow

Rants/Raves:
Rant: I've been looking for a new job for a few months with no luck, my contract job ends at the end of December. I'm showing too much now to possibly get a job, which makes me sad, I'm worried I'm putting us in an awful financial situations and feel very guilty.
Rave: I'm SO happy it is officially fall, we have a ton of awesome plans and I plan to make the most of it!

Gtky: What was your favorite subject in school and why?: History and Art. (Not so much art history for some reason!)

Weeks/fruit: 20 weeks!! Baby banana is halfway baked!

Appointments: A/S is 8 days away. Seems like forever.

Rant: I have had a bad sore throat for 24 hours. No other symptoms though, and it's better than it was when I woke up at 4 am, and I haven't taken more Tylenol since then, so I'm hopeful it will pass quickly.

Rave: we are starting to get serious about moving things in our house and buying things for baby. Going to get a crib probably this weekend!

Team I JUST WANT TO KNOW! Can't wait until next Friday.

GTKY: Music! I'm a choir teacher now.

Weeks/Fruit:18 weeks/ Sweet Potato

Rants/Raves:
Rant: I just graduated from grad school a month ago and have been tirelessly seeking employment in my field. I haven't had much luck because I am lacking licensure to practice in TX and that will take a few months to get. I am still not really showing but I am getting pretty far along and don't see anyway that I will get hired being this pregnant. I also am not seeing the point in starting a job just to have to take leave a couple of months later. I'm highly contemplating going back to a temp agency that I did work for a couple of years ago just to have something to do and to save up money while working on getting my license. The good thing is that we don't necessarily NEED the money, but it would definitely be helpful to have a little more cushion for when the baby comes. I'm just ready to get back to work because I hate not doing anything and I want to do whatever I can to ease some of the load off of my husband.

Rave: The state fair opens tomorrow and I'm so excited! I've already made a list of all the things I want to eat! lol

20 weeks!

A/S appointment on Monday

Rant: we are working on insulating our basement before winter. Today we got a quote that was way more than I thought it would be and it hit me right in the feels... bringing me to tears at work. Ugh, pregnancy emotions!

Rave: MATERNITY PANTS. That is all.

I won pregnancy battle #1 and on Monday we will NOT be finding out the sex of the baby. He or she will continue to go by the nickname of "tummy monster," and coworker bets will continue to be placed.

I had a love/hate relationship with Math in high school. I was particularly interested in, and tested high, in Trig. I love formulas (formulae? ) and the feeling you get when it just clicks and you solve a problem. What a nerd.

A day late but I'll post anyway!
Weeks/Fruit: 21 weeks, a pomegranate!

Appointments: Next one is oct 7!

Rants/Raves: rave: I've starting doing a lot of little projects for the nursery. I decided I'm going to make most of everything for the nursery so that it all matches and is unique. I'm not super good at sewing but I just made a changing pad cover last night and it turned out way better than I expected! So excited for everything to come together

Rants: one of my twins has been so so whiney, clingy and ornery lately!! Not sure if he's teething or cause he's almost 2 but it's driving me bonkers! Everything that doesn't go his way ends up in a total meltdown. At least my other twin has been pretty easy going and happy lately!

Gtky: What was your favorite subject in school and why?:
My favorite "subject" was music. I was in band and orchestra and loved it. Ended up majoring in music performance in college because we had such a good music program in high school. I actually really liked math too
