Baby Position

Has anyone else noticed that their baby is only ever on the left or right side? I'm 17 weeks, 18 tomorrow, and have an at home Doppler. I've only ever felt or heard the baby's heartbeat on the left side of my belly, never at all on the right.

I plan to ask my doc about this Friday, but am curious if others have noticed the same thing!

    I've always found mine almost exactly in the middle and usually only feel baby in the middle. I think it's probably normal for them to hang out in a certain area.

    Mines all over the place, she doesn't like to be pushed on. If i find the hb on the left she moves to the right side.. so stubborn

    Mine is low and on the left. It's normal.

    During my AS, the ultrasound tech was constantly on my left side.  I can only assume that that means that she was hanging primarily on that side.

    It also has to do with the placement of your placenta. Mine is at the very top and I never feel him in that area, he tends to kick around the middle and around my pelvic bone.

    I think my placenta is on the right. She hangs out low and to the left. Makes my stomach look crazy.

    Wow, your stomach does look crazy! Glad to know its not just me and I thought it may have to do with placenta placement. My next ultrasound isn't until Oct 25 so it will be awhile until I know for sure.

    All three of my babies have kicked low and left (ETA- until the very end, my kids flip to vertex late) Kinda weird.

    During my a/s this kiddo nestled his head in right side of my pelvis and wouldn't budge. I've noticed movement low and to the left, so I'm assuming he's laying right to left and this foot or whatever is poking me.

    Before my bump became more rounded I noticed that my left side was a little larger than the right.
