Formula intake after starting formula

We have been giving our little one oatmeal cereal for the past week to two weeks (twice a day) and he's taking it great. I did notice that he's not drinking as much formal. He went from 32 oz or more to now 20-28 at the most, sometimes even less. Anyone else having similar experience? Not sure if it's because of teething or introducing oatmeal. Any tips?

    From what I read and was told, offer formula/breast first, then solids so that they're getting proper nutrition from those sources before experimenting with solids.
