Nope! You are in good company! Every trip to the bathroom can be nerve wracking - and that's a lot of trips! But I will say I feel better with each passing week (I am 15 weeks today). I have never made it this far into a pregnancy so the fears become less and less, feeling like those "pains" are all part of it!
1000%. I'll be at the same point where I lost my last pregnancy this Friday. I'm hoping that I'll start being a little less terrified after that, but probably no.
I mean... I feel like a crazy person! I have 4 beautiful, perfect boys... but we had a loss at 11 weeks in April (who loses a baby that late after having 4 healthy kids).... so I guess now I am totally freaked. Haven't had even one excited moment... none. and now I've been real heavy feeling today... kinda crampy but not exactly. .. ugh!
I am a legit crazy person. I'm on progesterone but convinced that this isn't a viable pregnancy and the progesterone is stopping me from miscarrying. I had slight nausea and it seems to have gone away so now I'm battling the urge to go get a beta drawn. I will not be sane till 13 weeks I swear.
@numduex .... I work in a medical clinic and it's all I can do not to get a new beta tmrw. My first was 707... and I resisted a 2nd draw. .. well only until 1 week later... and it was 8500. Tmrw makes abother week and I'm so so tempted
@MamaRoni I'm impressed by your restraint! I'd have been be a pin cushion with that much access to testing! Everything freaked me out prior to 13 weeks. And I'm still a nut. Am hoping things calm down soon?
You are not alone. I am 15 weeks today and just started being able to breath a little easier now that I am able to find baby with my home Doppler. I was hoping after I passed the point that I lost my last baby, I would feel better, but nope. It will be a loooong 40 weeks, but will be so worth it. Hoping for a long healthy pregnancy for you!
I am crazy with you!!!! Yesterday i had spasms/ fluttering in my left side and I've had some spotting off and on so I am an emotional wreck!! With my history how can i not worry??! When do you go for an u/s?
I am right there with you.... Every twinge... Every cramp...every trip to the bathroom i'm afraid I'll see bleeding. Betas so far have been OK another one on Thursday I just can't wait to get more confirmation. No one talks about the stuff which doesn't make it any easier.
Lurking here. I'm still on the TTCAL category. Still ttc and currently beginning the TWW. I read this post and I imagine that whenever and if we ever get another bfp that I will be in the same boat - freaking out over every little thing. It sucks. Hope your baby is a sticky one
Ditto to everything. This pregnancy is making me crazy! First time around I couldn't wait to look at baby stuff, think about names, and what cute way we'd tell our family. This time when I catch myself planning ahead I immediately stop. It's like I can't allow myself to just enjoy it, the fear is too much. UGH. Every little cramp, flutter, or if I think my boobs are less sore than they were the day before I freak out. It's day to day but we will get through it!!!
I'm still early, so I'm nervous because I'm not feeling much of anything yet! Give me some sore boobs already!

@CarrieandRoy I guess that means your doc isn't worried about you? My doc told me to come in asap. I had my first u/s at 5weeks. It was nice to see the pod but it seems to be his way of saying I need to be monitored. Going again in 2 weeks. sigh.
They just said it was because you can't really see much before 8 weeks. Last time, they moved my appt up to 7 weeks because I thought I had a UTI. The baby measured at only 6 weeks but I could see the heartbeat. I'd be happy to see just a heartbeat, but I guess I'll have to be patient for an extra 2 weeks.

Oh, and my doctor doesn't want to see me until 8 weeks! No betas or anything.
They told me 8wks was fine too, but then I gave myself a panic attack and I called the nurse hotline crying they said they would do the bloodwork for my peace of mind. I can say it calmed me down for a max of a week then I started to worry again.
OP I too have no symptoms, but was cramping a little last week, and I will just have to wait and see it was nothing to write home about and no blood, I'd love to have some kind of symptoms. Anything to know baby was okay. Where is that X-Ray vision when you need it.

@CarrieandRoy My doc said the same thing. Won't see me until 9 weeks even though I've had 2 miscarriages in a row (a year apart). She also doesn't want to do any blood draws before that because she said they have no prediction on if I would miscarry. She said they're helpful in detecting an abnormal pregnancy but not a miscarriage. So I have two weeks from tomorrow. And the wait is driving me crazy!
@Plleriti1, I know there's no way of predicting anything, but I wish my doctor would do weekly ultrasounds starting at 6 weeks. That way, once a week I could see that growth is on track and it's still alive.
I'm sure after 2 miscarriages, you need peace of mind even more than I do. I hope the next two weeks fly by and you get good news!

I'm not at panic attack level, but I have this weird notion that I'm only "sort of" pregnant because it may not result in anything.
I feel exactly the same way. Yesterday my husband asked me what our nickname for the baby should be after we announce (like "the bean" or "the squid" or whatever) and I just looked at him like he was from outer space. Having been through a loss I'm just so acutely aware of how much pain can be involved here that I have absolutely no taste for being cutesy about anything. I imagine many women who have miscarried feel the same.
I feel completely the same way! I have blood work done weekly, but that only gives me peace of mind for a few hours after I get the results before I start getting scared again.
@GoatSnakeMouse, we did give our little one a nickname. As scared as I am, we are also trying to remain as positive as possible, and that has helped us a lot... It reminds me daily that this one deserves all the hope for the future as any other precious ones that we lost too early...
Sending positive thoughts to all of you for long and healthy pregnancies!
@borgahurst, my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks but lived another couple of weeks and my body hung onto to it for several weeks after that. I still had hcg in my system for 2 months after my d&e. So ultrasounds would give me more peace of mind than hcg levels. I feel like my hcg could still be doubling even if growth had stopped.

I'm about 5 weeks. Cramping like a dull ache over past 2 days. Now I'm spotting. Trying to stay calm but I am so upset and scared. It's light pink. So scared that it's happening again xxx
I had a miscarriage in April and found out this month ,on the day that I would have had the first baby, that I'm 5weeks pregnant. I'm super excited but also very anxious about being pregnant again
I'm making myself sick with nerves about my upcoming apt. Now I'm pretty sure I'm making myself feel cramps. This is awful. I just want to be able to smile and say "I'm pregnant!!!"
Anyone else feel equally as anxious about symptoms as they do no symptoms?! Like, if I have cramping at all I think I'm miscarrying. I think "this is gotta be it. It's going to get worse, then I'm going to start bleeding". But when I realize I don't have any noticeable symptoms I think "I must not be pregnant anymore. It must have stopped growing, and my body just hasn't gotten rid of it yet". There's just no winning.

You are definitely not alone, I panic if I have symptoms and if I don't. It is our own personal hell.

100%. At this point I think the only reason my boobs hurt is because I keep poking them to see if they still hurt. Even though my 6wk scan (last week) showed everything was fine, I'm already making myself sick with anxiety over my 10 week appointment, which is three weeks away.
@GoatSnakeMouse hahaha! I do the same thing! In the car the other day my husband was like "why are you grabbing your boobs?" Well duh, to make sure they're still sore!
Oh absolutely, @MandyMost! I am sure you can find some of my crazy rants on this board - several about bleeding issues then a crazed one about my boobs not hurting any more. It's so easy to over analyze everything. I'm still doing it and I'm 17 weeks now. I will add, for me, It has become easier to say some positive mantras and actually believe them. But those doubts come every day - symptoms or not.

I am so grateful for your posts. I have a meeting with my doc on Sep 30th to "formulate a new plan" for next round of IVF after my first miscarriage. Even the thought of that freaks me out not to mention if I get lucky enough to be pregnant again. Thanks to you I know I'm not crazy. I keep my fingers crossed for you and your little ones.
This board is such a comfort. I feel the same way... Constantly checking for symptoms. When I'm not as nauseous as I was the day before I freak out. U/S on 9/30. Working with a fertility specialist this time. He immediately took hormone levels (looked good) put me on progesterone and baby aspirin. I appreciate feeling more proactive but I'm still freaking out. My first pregnancy was completely normal and I was blessed with an amazing DS that just turned 5. Then.... Suffered two losses. So odd when you think your body is a baby making machine and then that happens....
Re: Every twinge
