Re: How to deal with annoying pregnancy skin issues

  • Ive been getting regular facials during my pregnancy. I never tried facials before but they do seem to be helping. Also I found that using a toner on a daily basis has really helped. Flare ups still happen every now and then.

  • My face is fine, but my back is a disaster!
  • Use coconut oil helps for back face chest all over its great
  • Same issues here!
  • Belli face wash is amazing!
  • I'm obsessed with lush cosmetics and my skin has never been better, I never get a break out any more I switched when I found out I was expecting because I didn't want to use all the chemicals and stuff anymore.. Dark angels face scrub every morning , ultra bland at night and cosmetic warrior face mask once a week. All of their products are all natural and preservative free, and vegan, no animal testing. They even have these great massage lotion bars with Shea and coco butter and coconut oil that I've been using everywhere to prevent stretch marks and I don't have a single one yet, (and I've gained 35 pounds)
I highly recommend all of their stuff :)
  • Straight up coconut oil. Use the organic stuff in the oil section at the grocery and put it in a pump bottle by the sink. Rub all over tummy and chest after the shower and before bed. Smells good but not too strong (Palmers cocoa butter made me so nauseous in the first trimester). A little goes a long way - no tight itchy skin, no stretch marks (aside from those from puberty, so I'm not one of those lucky girls who just don't get them!), great skin tone, and a nice little massage twice a day!
  • I never get break outs but I have notice an increase in melanin (melatonin?) that darkens all of the otherwise faint imperfections like sun damage. It's just delightful...
