DS hates me!

Well one week to go and up until now DS hasn't really shown any issues with the upcoming arrival of his new sister until this past week. He had a complete hysterical meltdown the other night, and wouldnt' let me near him, and would only let Daddy put his to bed, I put him to bed every single night. Then today, we were getting ready for nap time and again he only wanted his Daddy... Sighh, i'm trying not to take it personally but it really sucks. Hopefully when mommy no longer looks like a giant marshmellow man and I can physically do more with him, things will get better :(

TTC #2, bpf 1/15/15 Baby Girl due Oct 1! She's here, 9/26/2015!

    I'm sorry you are going r thru this :(. I am anticipating my son doing same thing to be honest... I think it's normAL... Everyone says they get over it... I take it personally too when my son wants "dad".....best wishes and hang in there :)

    How old is your son?
    My son is 4, nearly 5, and we have our days! Let me tell you!! But you know, sometimes it's a blessing, because you'll probably need him to let daddy put him to bed every now & again. Of course he doesn't hate you, he loves you so much he doesn't want anything to change.
    I'm sure he's anticipating the big change- something my friend did was bought a gift from the new sib to the older one - she gave it to him at the hospital. It was great!
    Anyway good luck!! This too shall pass & congrats on the new baby!
