October 2015 Moms

I've finally hit that ready for it to be over stage

For weeks now I haven't been getting more than 2 hours of sleep each night. My exhaustion finally got the best of me and I had a melt down as I heard my 12 month old waking from her nap. :'( I tried so hard to sleep during her 2 hour nap, but nothing works. At night it's super bad heartburn and itching, and during the day it's backpain and everything else.

End of vent! I know all of you are able to relate at this point.

I keep telling myself 5 more weeks (give or take!)

  • I'm with you! I can't sleep at night and then I'm exhausted all day at work. I feel like a zombie. I have three weeks to go! We can do this!!
  • I also have three weeks to go. Just think to yourself you managed to make it to what doctors consider to be full term. That means baby is good to go...from here on out just think as each day as a bonus for baby to grow and become stronger before making the grand entrance. I know its hard I am a stay at home mommy of a four, two, and one year old so breaks for me are non existent but baby will be here soon!! Is does seam like these last days drag on FOREVER
  • I'm not quite 39 weeks, and my doctor wants to induce this weekend. I'm thankful because I can barely move anymore! I have no idea how I would make it any farther. :/
  • When I had 6 weeks left I thought "I'm never going to make it full term." Now I'm 3 weeks away and saying the same thing still. It amazes me how much my body can handle. We truly are Wonder Women for what we are able to put ourselves through day in and day out. Hang in there!

Lol I've been saying the same thing! I've been having contractions for awhile now... 2 weeks away from my duedate, time has slowed down... and I was certain he'd be here by now! Lol we're almost there!!

  • yup, 3 more weeks here to go as well.  Although, I think I'm actually 38 weeks because my original due date was Oct. 8th and I'm feeling more symptoms of a 38-weeker rather than a 37 weeker lol.  Baby is low, belly has dropped, heartburn, diarrhea, mucus everywhere...you name it.  Doctor also thinks baby is coming "early".  We can do this!

  • I'm definitely getting there. My hips hurt so much. I know that I won't get to sleep in long spats like I used to when the baby gets here, but I feel like the quality of sleep I get will be better when I'm not so achey and I can lay on my stomach and back again. Still got a little over 5 weeks. Hopefully it goes by quickly.
  • I love all the support from you ladies, I also rely on my hubby a lot who is such a big help through all this. Think of your finish line and snuggles with your new lo, it is truly a marathon. And when all else fails don't forget to treat yourself! >:D< home stretch!!
  • I'm with you ladies! I had a bunch of friends all due around me and as of today, I'm the only one left. All the other babies was on time or early. I'm still on target for my edd - Oct 3, but it's already feeling like I'm late!
  • Im between a rock and a hard place i think. Im definitely ready, due oct. 5th. But husband is going away for a few days next week, while I'm 39 weeks. I don't want him to come obviously till after he gets back but after the doc yesterday told me she doesn't think he's coming for awhile im sad! Everyone thinks he's coming early but i think he might be stubborn and wait till late. Ugh....cant wait till the 1st ( when husband gets back) im ready!!!!! Sad thing is im hoping to rush to wait more lol
