Mucus Plug just came out...ewww

So, that was the nastiest thing I've ever seen. I didn't see it the first time bc I didn't lose it until after they induced me at the hospital. I am 40 weeks + 3 days and am curious what everyone's labor experience has been like after losing their mucus plug. I was planning on serving one more shift tonight at the steakhouse I work at, but Idk if it is a good idea or not now. It has been 8 years since I've done this, so any advice is appreciated! Thanks ladies:)

    I lost my mucus plug last Wednesday..... Still pregnant today. They say losing it doesn't mean anything in regards to timing... Just that your body is preparing... And it can take as much as 2 more weeks.

    My water broke an hour after I lost my mucus plug - so much ewwww!!!!!

    Lost mine mine at 8am last Thursday (and yes gross!), had cramping and lower back pain all day, started to get more contractions in the evening, then labor really started around 1am. Had baby at 2:35 next day. I went into work all day on the Thursday, helped kept my mind occupied. Oh and I was 40+1 and had been 1cm dilated 2 days before. Good luck!

    Lost part of mine yesterday after a sweep at the Dr. and lost the rest this morning, my due date is tomorrow, I've been cramping and having contractions off and on since I left the doctor. Hoping bouncing on my exercise ball and a good long walk around Target today will have LO make his appearance on time!

    I am with @picariellol lost mine September 1st and I am still pregnant! Due date is September 25th my cervix has been soft and I have been 1cm dilated for over 2 weeks. He will come when he is ready at this point!
