Amazon Prime Sale

Amazon Prime will be on sale for $67 (reg $99) on Sep 25 for 24 hrs. I've heard of using Amazon on diapers & such. Plus, the Prime membership has advantages like free two day shipping & free same day delivery.
Has anyone used this? It seems like it could be a good time to try it out.

Re: Amazon Prime Sale

  • We love our prime (especially with holidays coming!). We haven't signed up for there diaper delivery but you get Amazon mom for free when you have prime and they run good deals on wipes and diapers
  • Loading the player...
  • I have Prime and I use the heck out of it. You also get the media streaming and storage stuff which I also use.
  • Prime is amazing! It will spoil you though with free 2 day shipping.
  • I love my prime I got all my baby furniture and items I needed for baby there.. Also all my household needs to I find it is cheaper and the two day delivery is awesome and some times you will get next day.. Example I got the newborn sensitive diapers for like 10 cheaper a box online than in the stores and I don't have to carry them home even more of a plus.. I also live in the city with no car so this has been perfect..
  • I love my Prime! We were cutting expenses earlier this year, this was a non-negotiable that we had to renew. We use it all the time. I also have a Kindle that I use to stream movies and read books on.
  • LOVE prime. Nothing worse than paying $25 bucks for a $10 or $15 product just because of shipping! Prime avoids that AND gets it to you sooner AND you get all sorts of fun perks!
  • Love prime! I absolutely love coming home to find that my diapers and wipes magically appear at my door step. One less thing to worry about and remember!
  • Totally worth the money, especially with a baby. With subscribe and save and amazon mom, I get diapers and wipes delivered monthly so I never worry about running out and I never have to lug diaper cases from the store- plus they are cheaper.

Prime just makes me too spoiled to order from anywhere else. The 2 day free shipping is awesome when you have a little one- because I can order on my phone when I'm nursing or whatever, and it will arrive before I even have the chance to drive to target (plus shopping is a pain with a baby). It was so useful in the early days of DS because sometimes I didn't even know we needed something (a swing, for example)- but on his first day of life, we learned he loved a swinging motion so we ordered a swing from amazon while in the hospital. It was waiting for us at home when we brought him home 2 days later. Lifesaver! Just one example but you get the idea.

It's a "luxury" I'd never go without again!
  • Does anyone know how to sign up for Mom and Smile? I only have a phone (no laptop/desktop) and can't figure out how to become a member of those services?
  • Love Prime! Just got some formula for cheap too. Gerber good start soothe, 4 giant containers for 75 bucks, that's with my %15 subscribe and save plus another 15% coupon. Woot! Just want to have some in case the BF doesn't work out again. Got Huggies on Subscribe and save as well.

  • We love Prime. We use the video streaming a lot to watch movies, 2-day shipping is a life saver especially since we don't have a lot of shopping in our town. We have already started using Subscribe and Save for diapers and wipes. Diapers are always 20% off and other items are discounted as well. The 2-day free shipping is great around the holidays - we have our gifts shipped directly to the recipient and save a lot of money and time on shipping that way. I think Prime items have free returns as well but we never seem to need to return items.
