Ovulation pain

Do you feel ovulation pain? If so, do you know if you feel it before or during ovulation? I have my IUI in an hour and I'm worried I already ovulated. I felt right pelvic pain Monday night. I also had a positive OPK test Monday evening before my trigger. I had a lot of fertile cm yesterday. I didn't do another OPK today because the HCG trigger will cause a positive. Our timing was off last month due to my DH going out of town, so I'm kinda bummed it may be off again.

    I get bad ovulation pain usually the day before I ovulate and the day I get a pos opk. Everyone's different but I hope that helps :) good luck!

    I understand its different for everyone. Just wanted to hear everyone's experience. I get ovulation pain every month and don't know if it's before or during. I guess I just need to be positive. I'm now feeling left pelvic pain and did have a smaller follicle on my left side on Monday at 14mm. Our bodies are so complicated. It's probably best not to symptom spot.

    I totally understand the need to hear others experience, Infertility feels soooo isolating sometimes. My ovulation pain is always before.

    I personally drive myself crazy with symptom spotting so if you can try and distract yourself until your iui it might help (I know that's easier said then done!)

    You ovulate 12-48 hours after LH surge.  It's possible you caught it while it was on the increase so you may still be ok!!  Were you on injectibles or oral medication?

    @bsckgb7 100 mg of Clomid. I'm hoping I caught it while it was on the increase too. On Sunday early afternoon it was negative.

    @TRP85 it does feel very isolating. Especially when all your friends have kids. I obviously haven't been able to distract myself since I'm still on here. I really want to try to not symptom spot and stay off Google during my 2ww. It's going to be hard.

    Rachd110 - ok, some injectibles are LH, so making sure it wasn't one of those.  

    I just remember I have to trust my RE and he knows best.  I stop temping and OPKs are all that during monitored cycles, because I was afraid I would second guess every decision.  FX for you!!

    I generally can feel when I O from my right ovary, but rarely from my left (ultrasound tech said the location of my right is in a place where it makes sense I would feel more). When I used to temp, O pain would generally but not always be the same day I ovulated. Also, since I have been on stimulated cycles it has been a little harder to differentiate between O pain and just feeling pressure from more follicles. It's possible you were in a position or did something where you just felt your mature follicle. I agree with @bsckgb7 that sometimes we just need to stop analyzing and just trust our doctor.

    If you had fertile cm yesterday, you didn't ovulate Monday night. Even if you did at some point yesterday, your egg should still be good and ready for the sperm today!

    Here's to hoping you'll be getting your BFP in about 2 weeks!!

    Unexplained with (controlled) hypothyroidism and suspected ovulatory dysfunction (but, I do ovulate on my own)
    Clomid 50 mg 3/15 (unmonitored) - BFN
    Clomid 50 mg + metformin 4/15 (unmonitored) - BFN 
    First RE appt. 5/15; Natural cycle 5/15 monitored with 2 mature follicles and Pregnyl Trigger (full dose) + prometrium - BFN
    6/15 HSG - clear tubes & normal uterus; great PCT test results
    TI - 100 mg Clomid + prometrium (AM & PM) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 6-7/15 (monitored) --> no additional response and thinned lining - BFN
    TI - Injectables (follistim + Gonal-F, Ganirelix, & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 9/15 --> 3-7 mature follicles (3 definites and 4+ that could have matured due to trigger) @ O -->BFN + 5 large cysts
    BC for 2 weeks due to cysts
    TI - Injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & full dose Pregnyl) + prometrium (AM & PM) 10/15 --> 1 mature follicle --> BFN 
    TI - Last attempt at injectables (Gonal-F, Ganirelix & 1/2 dose Pregnyl) + crinone (AM only) + vaginal estrace (AM & PM) 11/15 --> 3-4 mature follicles --> BFP!! 11/27/15 @ 13dpo (shockingly, actually waited until then to test)

    Beta #1 @ 16dpo (11/30/15) = 1,075
    Beta #2 @ 19dpo (12/3/15) = 3,150
    One baby: Saw heartbeat @ 5w5d (114 bpm; baby measuring 2.3mm)

    I know what you mean.  I was worried this month since they were hoping to give my 3rd follicle time to grow but the nurse promised I would be good for Monday since I got the negative ovulation Saturday morning.
