bloody show or leaking water?

I went to pee at 1am after having contractions and climbed back into bed and felt a small gush of warm water.I got up and it was pink tinted. I called my midwife and she said if its not continuous leaking than its probably a bloody show. I thought a bloody show was more like mucus?

    I would go get checked. Bloody show to me and my doctor is mucus. I could be wrong but better safe than sorry.

    From what my birthing class described bloody show as it seemed more jelly like than water like. They explained that water breaking would be a substantial amount and smell like death warmed over. Unless you have a high water break then you would have a trickle. My friend had a high water break and it actually closed back up. I would call your doctor as well.
