UGI anyone update

Hi ladies, tomorrow my 6 week old will have a upper gi test done and i'am very nervous. Any of your babies had this done? How did it go?

Test was done this morning, and true- it was worse for me than LO, but it was quick and painless. He didn't like the white drink too much but he did a great job. Tomorrow i have to call pedi to get results, i hope everything is fine.

Yes, when he was in the Nicu. He was not bothered by it. He had an upper GI and lower GI dye test. If you have more specific questions let me know.

Does he have reflux, if so, what are you doing to make him feel better.

We have one scheduled for 10/5. Not looking forward to the 6 hours with no food prior. Would love to hear your experience afterwards! Tnp for your LO

No he was having other digestion issues, early on. I had to feed him at a slight angle and his crib was also angled.

My ds had it. It was worse for me then him.

So yes LO has reflux so he will start taking meds and will switch to a gentle formula. I hope he feels better and thank you ladies for your comments
