How'd your week go ladies??!!

What goals did you meet that you set last week? Any set backs? Anything you want to brag about?

What's your goal for the week?

We know that weight loss is 80%what goes into your body and 20% working out. What are you putting into your body? Any favorite recipes/food tips you want to share?

  • Giving up sodas was tough. They made me give them up during pregnancy. I haven't really been craving them anymore now that I've gone almost a year without one. Just stick to it for a few months and the cravings start going away.

    Thank you!! It was so hard & I really thought I couldn't do it but 4 years of extra pounds & the 25lbs from LO finally made me realize I've been making so many excuses as to why I'm not losing weight. I finally hit that aha moment where I knew this was my time to lose the weight & get back to where I was 4 years ago. I split how much weight I need to lose all together in 3 goals. 1st goal lose the 25lbs from LO, after I accomplish that my 2nd goal is to lose another 25 lbs, 3rd & final goal to lose 20lbs. This way it's not so overwhelming to say my goal is to lose 70lbs. Here's to hoping we can both cut the soda habit long term! ;)

  • @CarelessDiva89 congrats!! Sounds like you had an awesome week!

    So I did my diastasis recti workouts last week and am happy to say that the gap in my abs is now completely healed. I went for no walks last week like I wanted though, but wasnt concerned since we were eating well and I did do 5 workouts to heal these pesky abs.

    Anyways, we didnt meal prep for the week like we normally do which means I ate decent but not strict and extremely clean. Goal this week, meal prep and start couch to 5k to just start my cardio. Going to do some light bootcamp style workouts, but im cleared to work so next week will start Jamie Easons PP 12 week program.
  • I have watched my calories and made all the right choices food wise. I've exercised daily (including jogging) and I've stayed between 11,000-12,000 steps daily. Sucky part is that I've lost nothing. Pretty sure I've plateaued from my initial weight loss and/or my period is starting. Either way, I'm very frustrated :(

    Chicken is great! We eat lots of chicken here. Thai sounds wonderful, so does Indian. I've never tried African but would be open to that too! How about sharing some of your personal favorites? I'm excited!
  • I don't go by the scale, but it has been a week of good progress in the mirror! I am 4 weeks pp and my stomach keeps looking better. My clothes are fitting better too which is really encouraging. I still have quite a ways to go to pre pregnancy weight (I let myself go during pregnancy- rookie mistake).

    My goal for this next week is to walk an hour each day. I started that yesterday and it has been great to get out of the house and get moving!

    Thinking about recipes is a bit overwhelming. I am not making dinner or thinking about cooking yet. LO keeps me busy all day long.. I am seriously impressed with all of you who have your lives pulled together enough to plan meals! :) I'm just trying to snack smart at this point and not let DH exclusively make Mac & Cheese for dinner

    DS2 -3/23/13

    Missed MC D&C 8/26/14

    DD - 8/26/15

    LO#4 due 5/30/17
