Urgently need opinion on baby girl name

We like the name Azalea but we have concerns over the only two celebrities that have this name and their current image - Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks. The latter being the worse of the two.

I have very little idea about how the culture in schools is here. Should these factors affect our choice of name and would it affect her negatively when she goes to school etc where people and other kids might see the image of these not so good role models in her name or find a reason to make fun of her.

    I agree with previous poster.  I would not associate Azalea with either of those people and I also do not know who the Banks Azalea is!  And PP nailed it on the head-by the time she is in school, those celebs will be obsolete.  I say go for it!  It's a beautiful name!

    01/2015-Femara 5mg + Gonal F 25 units + trigger (plus additional Gonal F 100 units on trigger night) + IUI= BFP!!! Twins due 10/2015
    09/28/2015- Surprise!  Conrad and Hudson born at 35w6d!

    I love that name! I would stick with it, because ppl who know your little sweetie will associate the name with her and probably no one else.

    I wouldnt worry about it! I didnt think of either of those people when I read the name, I did however think it was very cute!

    It's lovely, but I do think of Iggy Azalea. She probably doesn't have much staying power, though, but on the off chance she does - I wouldn't want my daughter growing up with contemporaries teasing her for this reason.

    What about Marigold or Iris? These are more classic names and are less likely to be associated with any one person negatively.
