Keeping the secret

We're trying to keep this exciting news to ourselves until at least 12weeks. That's gonna be a tough one. We're going apple picking this weekend with some friends and they asked if we wanted to go to a winery afterwards...I never say no to a winery...and then another friend asked me to come over and drink some wine and have girl talk. Yikes! I wish this was the season of Lent and I could use that as an excuse for not drinking wine! How does everyone keep it a secret?

    I've been telling people I'm not drinking until I lose some weight....which is technically true, I just don't mention the weight will be a baby!

    I went to a football party at my moms yesterday and her boyfriend bought me a 6 pack of my favorite beer. I accepted and just swapped the booze for iced tea in the bathroom but then just said I wasn't drinking because I had to drive stepson home. It's gonna be hard. I tell my mom and sister everything and I'm really just trying to hold off for my 6 week appointment.

    I'm not a huge drinker but I've planned out that I will just tell people I'm trying to lose weight.

    Gosh this is so hard to not shout it from the roof tops! Lol! I don't drink, but I did smoke. Everyone at work is starting to get suspicious why I'm not drinking Redbull and smoking! I feel like I'm lying because I'm so close with everyone at work; I hate it! I can't wait to spill the beans. I think I'll only last until 9 weeks. It's such an exciting time and I want everyone to share this with me! Good luck! X

    I had a wedding with family this past weekend and they watch like Hawks to see if you're not drinking. I had the bartender water down cranberry juice with a lime. Everyone thought it was vodak cranberry...secret kept!

    Whenever I'm out I quietly order tonic water with lime in a cocktail glass. Looks like a gin and tonic!! In home/party settings I say I haven't been feeling well or its my turn to drive!
